i've ridden both of them, I have to go with Sheikra though it only has 1 loop and the Griffon has 2, I had an entirely different experience on the Sheikra. When you're on you feel like you're gliding through the air, the inversion isn't so fast and turns in smoothly, and that tampa breeze is literally the icing on the cake.

Sheikra BECAUSE... sheikra has prettier, more detailed scenery while griffon is just... you know plain

Griffon is by far the best dive coaster there is. Not only 2 Immelmann loops, but crazy airtime on the second drop. Every single time I’ve ridden it on that second drop I literally float up out of my seat... it is the best feeling in the world

They are basically the same exact ride maybe some different twists but same set up rode the Griffon today and that was awesome and I'm sure the Sheikra is just as awesome

I agree, I also think Sheikra's splashdown is better than Griffon's.

Sheikra hands down. Although Griffon has two loops, I love diving into the tunnel and flying around the splash pool. Griffon seems tight, like it wasn't meant to be there. Sheikra feels like flying on the wings of a plane, while Griffon is weird: sorta like flying but more tight. Sheikra has a bonus of flying over the employee parking lot!

Sheikra wins on my watch because the scenery and how glossy smooth the track is. The colors are wonderful too.

Aren't both SheiKra and Griffon Dive Machines,while Montu and Alpengiest are the Inverted Coasters?Your description says otherwise.

Griffon is obviously a mimic of SheiKra and SheiKra has more theme to it and it's a longer ride than griffon as shown in this video. GO SHEIKRA!!

Despite me riding SheiKra numerous times repeatedly throughout my childhood thus far, I still haven't ridden Griffon yet due to its location. So, unfortunately, I cannot make an unbiased opinion without riding both of them.

Rode the griffon yesterday and loved it but I'm not fond of sheikra (my opinion) People will point out which is better when it's all opinion. They both are about the same and you can tell by going on the rides and not just watching the video.

I think everyone's missing the point. It's not a contest, they're the same ride! Just like how Kingda Ka is just a rip off of Cedar Point's Top Thrill Dragster. Same basic ride, same manufacturer, the only difference is Busch Gardens does this a lot in their own parks, while Six Flags ripped off another parks design! However, if I had to pick the best dive coaster I'd say Valravn at Cedar Point beats both of these rides and it isn't even one of the 5 best rides in that park! Valravn is the tallest, fastest, and longest Dive Coaster in the world, which would mean something if dive coasters were anything more than an advertising gimmick. Griffin is only 5 feet higher, holds 30 people instead of SheiKra which holds 24 people. Also Griffon has an extra loop. But I like SheiKra because of the themeing and its tunnel. Both layouts are similar, but not completely.

Sheikra is better when your on the Griffon you can kinda count before it drops when on the sheikra it’s never 1 2 3 then drop it’s like a time and a half when it drops so it’s unexpected last a lot longer when you god down then the griffon I just say it’s way better actually made me nervous to get on it. People will still debate but come back when you’ve ridden both one day I might actually make a review and travel to ride both in the same day

You haven't been on griffon have you? all of the roller coaster reviewers think griffon is 10 times better than sheikra. They also say griffon has better scenery. Busch gardens Williamsburg has been voted most beautiful park in the world for over 20 years now. Changed your mind yet? If not griffon is taller, faster and has 2 loops and sheikra only has 1.
