This song is so nostalgic to me. I’m a fully white British girl but had Indian next door neighbours when I was a little girl. I would be around their house, parents and culture more than my own and started to learn their language. This song was played constantly on repeat by suhani (one of my friends who lived there) and is just stuck in my head. I love the Indian culture with all my heart.
