Shelby Muirhead is studying Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University and will graduate in May 2023. She spent the summer interning with #SCPorts Engineering and Facilities Maintenance team.
A highlight from Shelby's internship: "A highlight for me was getting to tour one of the ship-to-shore cranes at the Hugh K. Leatherman Terminal. It was amazing to see how these machines work and are maintained. The STS cranes and RTGs are marvels of engineering that allow our operators to move shipping containers in an efficient manner!"
