this album is literally the only album front to back that i still get goosebumps watching people react to it

Travis as a kid loved going to six flags astroworld when he was little in Houston but they took it away in 1998. As a result he wanted the listener to feel like also which is why the album gets progressively darker like you’re slowly pulling away a theme park from a kid

*HOUSTONFORNICATION* is still my favorite song on the album. A quintessential Travis song, and so underrated too.

R.I.P screw is easily one of travis’ best tracks, so underrated

This album is amazing. It was more than just an album at the time too, it really influenced culture and set so many trends.

First listen: Favorite tracks were stargazing, sicko mode, rip screw, can’t say, Yosemite, and coffee bean 5 years later: Stargazing, rip screw, no bystanders, astrothunder, and houstonfornication I had to limit it to top 5 otherwise I would’ve just said every track is amazing. This album has aged so well and I still play it a lot to this day (even with the release of utopia!).

The name name of the album Astroworld came from an amusement park in Houston where Travis would go as a kid before it got shut down. It honestly fits the album so well considering how much people describe the album as a roller-coaster. My first favorites were sicko mode, Stop trying to be God, Cant say because of Don Toliver and Astrothunder. Overtime my new favorites have been Houstonfornication, Coffee bean, RIP Screw, and still Astrothunder.

I remember the anticipation leading up to it being one of the most surreal experiences I’ve experienced

I wish I could go back and listen to this album for the 1st time again. Travis been my favorite artist since 2014, when he dropped Days Before Rodeo. When I heard Stargazing for the first time, I knew this album was gonna be legendary 🙌🏽

upon first listen i really liked Stargazing and Can’t Say. Something about Don Toliver’s voice was just captivating to me. now my favorites have to be Stargazing, still, as well as Skeletons, which is now my favorite Travis Scott song of all time. i really love the vibe and the spacey-ness of the song, especially with the production and the mixing on the vocals.

that somber feeling that you feel is referred to as melodic, that sound and tone within the music. some thing Travis has perfected and Don Toliver as well. those two are the perfect match when it comes to music duos and what makes it even more special is that Don is signed to Cactus Jack (Travis’) label. other songs they have together: Flocky Flocky (Life of a Don), You (Life of a Don), Euphoria (Heaven or Hell), WHAT TO DO? (JACKBOYS)…this is record label collab album, Embarrassed (LoveSick Deluxe)

AstroWorld is Album of the 2010’s for me. That or 2014 Forest Hills Drive by J. Cole. No skips on either album.

On my first listen i went crazy about sicko mode, all the beat switches, drake's feature, swae lee hidden feature, everything about that track. Astrothunder grew on me so much, i first thought it was the worst song on the album, and now i think its one of the best Right now, i listen the most to wake up and stop trying to be god, such amazing songs. Also, i would love to see a Utopia reaction, i think you will like the album

Astrothunder and Coffee Bean are the only two songs from this album that grew up on me and still I listen to them

The whole project was meant to give the impression of a theme park in all the twisted production and beat changes. Every track had its own special vibe and tone like Carousel 🎠 and Butterfly Effect 🦋. Coffee Bean stuck with me the hardest cause it’s like the come down from all the crazy spectacle stuff and it’s like you’re walking out of the theme park at the end of a great day. 🎈

Man this album brings so many memories and feelings from different times of my life… take me back so I can listen to this album right when it dropped so I can experience this properly 😖🔥 imo his best album.

I think Utopia is so intresting you have to listen to it. I hear a lots if music especially rap but this album is something i never heard before. The first listen was crazy it felt so much darker and maby even haunted. Im so curious to see you reaction :)

Coffee bean is so underrated man

I would recommend trying to leave the features a surprise. The feeling of someone new coming onto the song in a completely unpredictable way just excites me so much. Just a suggestion, but great reaction

It's not the acceptable take but this is my favorite Travis Scott album. I think Rodeo has higher highs but Astroworld is a more consistent quality range that helps me feel less whiplash when I get to the "bad" songs on it and it helps me complete listens more often Lately people have been saying this album aged poorly and I have no idea why, maybe they're referring to the controversies making it worse? I have no idea

“Astroworld” album, (named after the theme park) flows like a roller coaster because it used to be a 6 flags amusement park before they sold they land in Houston 😒

Please give a listen to Eternal Atake by Lil Uzi Vert. It really shows how much he changed, musically, since the release of LUV is rage 2. There's also a Deluxe version of the album that's a whole album of work added onto the original.
