He cannot help his character he has autism and that's how they behave you have the super intelligent artistic one and then you have the normal autistic I think it's called Asperger I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing the name properly but you can research it

In what universe is he the best character? He's condescending, narcissistic and very opinionated. If he was my roommate and he treated me like he treats Leonard I would Gibbs slap him so hard that his grandkids would feel it

The subject at the centre is Jim Parsons and how he portrayed such a difficult character with such details and depth, and made him come to real life (reel life) so effortlessly. Jim is a star, and he always will be. Everybody knows Sheldon Cooper has numerous flaws (which is very normal, for nobody has ever been born flawless), there's nothing new, so no need to heat up your nerves. What's being appreciated here is the writing behind Sheldon Cooper as a Character and his excellent portrayal by Jim Parsons.

Perhaps but I can't get enough of watching episodes where he doesn't get his way. Also I saw Jim Parsons in another movie and he was just as bad. It proves a point that my ex wife used to say, that actors don't act they play themselves. I'm still mad because he's the main reason TBBT ended

I had this exact thought when watching the episode, why the hell would they have to work outside, they should have a temperature controlled lab to build and test the equipment and then install it outside

yes that was a great scene. The timing and rection was perfect. I wonder how many takes it took to get it right. (both timing wise and without laughing) coz face it - that was hilarious.

As much as I miss this show, all good things must come to an end, and they ended it in a satisfying way, finishing all of the major plot lines, if it were to be brought back, I'd fear too much that they'd taint the show with subpar comedy and horrible story

I absolutely love the show, but it's a good thing it ended on a high note when the show had audience. It's always good end it there instead of dragging it forever where the fans get tired.

I'll have to watch that scene again and watch him. Sometimes it's hard to tell when the actor breaks (or at least tries not to) character.
