To be fair, I understand how it feels to want to hold onto stuff. I’ve had to unwillingly lose 95% of my personal possessions several times in my life, so I force myself not to get attached to things- but when I do get attached, man do I get attached.

@@CountryMetal01 Yes, this is definitely a healthier way to hoard, and because it's not interfering with his life. Lots of people rent storage lockers for extra storage space, and I personally view waiting as long as possible to buy new technology as a good thing.

I need a fortress of shame!! My family are quick too get rid of things!! And like Sheldon I'm attached to them!! Inanimate objects hold memories!! I have a Sony Walkman that I bought in 1995 and it still works!! So I can understand Sheldon here!! LOL!!

I assume Mac users have no idea, but huge chunk of PC users customize and buy parts from ground up to build their own PC, for different purposes, different specs, and budget. It is actually very very fun and quite easy

That's actually very useful for somebody who works with massive equations and sketches on the side of writing elaborate papers. Sure it borders or exceeds the resolution of human vision and would probably require rescaling the parts you're actually working on, but it's a great way to keep visual oversight, something Sheldon probably needs since he has quite some autistic traits.

And typical of Sheldon - Amy puts thousands of dollars and hours of effort for a millimeter of growth. And then instantly undone by Sheldon’s monstrous ego, need to control, lack of respect for the woman he “loves”, and Amy’s desire to see the human behind the monster. I’d say poor girl but I’d don’t know who I’d use a single bullet on - her for being stupid and weak enough to stay with a monster like Sheldon, or use it on Sheldon and win the Nobel peace prize for eliminating a threat more annoying and dangerous than Al-Qaeda

The moment Sheldon showed Amy his "Fortress of Shame" was the moment Amy should have said, "okay, I'm OUT!" and just left Sheldon. It's what any sane person with an ounce of self-respect would have done.

It's not like Sheldon would have been a candidate for the show "Hoarders" or anything. His style of hoarding was organized and sanitary. The biggest issue with hoarders is with cleanliness, and you don't have that issue with Sheldon. So what's the problem?

@@MsAliciaRLYou can have everything completely organized and still be a hoarder. I saw an episode of Extreme Hoarders and there was a guy who had an obsession with books. They weren't strewn all over the floor, they were in stacks all over the house. Some were so unbalanced that all it would take is a tiny push and the whole thing collapses and someone could get hurt. But aside from the books, the house itself didn't look too bad compared to other hoarders.
