Same goals, different motives. Sturgis genuinely cares for Sheldon and wants what’s best for him. Sturgis wants to help him further his career. Linkletter only cares about himself. Wants to get Sheldon away from him. Coincidently, the Internship accomplished both motives.

The opportunuty Sheldon got was even better than Sam's. Not only does he get academic work experience but he also gets life experience as well by travelling outside of America. That looks even better on a Job application. It shows you're well travelled and have some life experience.

@@johnsoapmactavish9921 making friends, I think is Sheldon's biggest problem. Luckily, later in life, he met Leonard and Penny. They were the ones who understood him enough to tolerate him. He honestly doesn't understand his behavior is rude.

@@johnsoapmactavish9921 I think this show has shown Sheldon really starting to grow and develop as a young man, considering his circumstances. Sadly this show has to end in a tragedy. When he gets back from his program he's catching his dad cheating and then his dad will die. In my mind cannon that will be the reason for his social skills not continuing to develop.

Ian takes on more and more mannerisms, facial expressions and speech patters of Jim gradually transforming into adult Sheldon we all know. Professors are hilarious😅

No - it was a summer program in Germany it, he went do he could add it to his grad school application and it worked. He entered grad school at 14 because of it 😊

I dunno, this kind of makes Missy seem like she doesn't even like her brother. Sheldon's the one person not screwing her over/ignoring her left and right. You'd think Missy would be trying to bond a little more with her twin.

He is indirectly, he monopolizes everyone's time and attention. He never has to compromise, share or empathize with his siblings, because the established order of the household is for everything to bend to accommodate Shelldon. So Georgie and Missy are left with less attention and love, despite being great kids.

I literally HATE Sheldon bc of the way Missy is treated. Mary is 100% to blame. Social education is just as important as any stem field. Allowing your children to act like Sheldon and negatively effect everyone around them because you feel special that your kid has some special talent is irresponsible and detrimental to your other children.

How l you think that makes me seem like someone that stalks actors sounds like you live in Reddit threads and KZfaq comment sections wishing you were witty enough to “dunk” on someone. Also, my masters degree in Agricultural Food Science and running the lab I do working with UCF would be pretty tough if I was childish and lacked the ability to regulate emotion. If you could read my OG comment before you’d see I’m stating that I hate the character bc even tho they’re babied and handed everything while others around them suffer, they refuse to put any effort into not being a dick head. Anyone who loves the character of Sheldon without looking deeper into the injustice sounds like someone who actually obsesses over their fave tv show characters. The kid is 100% insufferable and in real life no one except his family would want anything to do with him
