About Young Sheldon:

A common theory is that she dies between the events of Young Sheldon and Big Bang Theory, which is why she wasn't even mentioned in Big Bang Theory. It could also explain Sheldon's aversion to romantic relationships until season 5.

I agree with most here and considering the effort that went into making Paige's character and her interaction with Sheldon, it's a pity that she was never mentionned in TBBT. They are so cute together. It's a bit sad that he wouldn't pursue things more because if his fear of touching. Had things turned out different, he might have seen human interactions in another light.

because young sheldon is a prequil to the big bang theory and the writers dropped the ball big time - paige and tam never existed in sheldon's life - sheldon's life is so boring they had to add characters that never existed to try to make it work - i stopped watching young sheldon after season 1 - i never understood why so many fans are obsessed with sheoldon - the big bang theory main premise is penny and leonard - sheldon is just there for the laughs

She was also crueler than sheldon. The only time Shelton showed this kind of Cruelty was in the Halloween episode where he imitated howard. And even then her cruelty was greater than that. She abused his trust and since there was no history of pranking between them, I would have probably never spoken to her again.

Tbh I think he mistook it as a crush since Missy’s crush thing got into his head and Paige didn’t actually like him. They started being more genuine to eachother in recent seasons though.

sheldon never had any friends when he was young - how the writers forget that and give him a best friend and girl who is his friend in young sheldon- and sheldon's father was an abusive alcoholic and in young sheldon he is this really nice guy lol- the writers dropped the ball on this show big time -
