40 years old guy. Couldn't watch the movie earlier, didn't have the money in 2014. Sometimes, hummed the songs back then. But today, just stumbled upon it. I watched it and again added the songs Mahi Ve & Jugni to my wishlist. Now I can FEEL / RELATE TO the songs, not just humming....😇

"My honest review: This movie is truly a masterpiece❤ Songs🥺💝 Storyline😭💔 Actors💞💫 (Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhat has done a brilliant job) Cinematography😍 Everything is superb. I loved everything about this movie But yeah one more thing if you are having some serious mental health issues then please don't watch this movie. It will take alot of time for you to get over trauma.

loved the movie so much!! waited sooo long to watch this masterpiece and it was all worth it !! the essence this movie holds can't be expressed bt it can only be felt!! the way it connects me to the nature!!my god!! loved it!! and the most iconic dialogue that I'll be keeping with myself is when Randeep hooda says, " pahad koi sa bhi chun le sb apne hi h ar kiske h!" and this touched my heart to core bcz sach me vo sb pahad apne hi to h ar kiske h! sb kuch mera h jo bhi nature ne provide kia h!! and I've never been to place having mountains and rivers that's why kashmir has always been in my bucket list..and whenever I'll go there I'll definitely make a home for me! oh c'mon home not house! mtlb that feeling that ye sb kuch mera h ar mai yha kbhi bhi aa skti h..ek vaisa ghar!!❤️

I was recommend this movie by brother few years back, initially i didn't get ready to watch this movie thinking it as boring. But one day i watched since that i have watched it multiple times. Falling in love with kidnapper, ways, mountains, music when she fled those scenes and the emotions all i feel the way i can't explain. Best performance by Alia bhat❤

Lovely Movie... Could relate with the protagonist and her emotions on many levels. Very well portrayed. It is tough to get rid of a toxic family and the society for women. This story speaks of the elite rich family. The actual reality is worse in the middle class where the societal compulsions are more and the chase never ends. A girl from Middle-class background can't have the relaxed climax as shown in the end. She has to run pillar to post just to have a secured life with no intervention of the toxic family and society. And the chase never ends...
