Everyone complains about the massive debt Nook forces on the player but not gonna lie, Nook's the best landlord. No interest, no rent, no deadlines. Just one lump sum paid whenever it's convenient, if at all. And he gives you an entire island in exchange. Assuming a Bell equals a Dollar, Nook's the only landlord that allows millenials to own a house without waiting for inheritance.
