I'm a woman, a believer for only 1 year, and I found this conversation fascinating and insightful into my own relationships on the topic of criticism. Thank you 🙏🏻

A new creation for 14 years and the love for truth grows only in proximity with it in the inwards parts before God. And as He establishes the work of His hands one will be able to negotiate what matters before God as to what sticks when criticism is at float. Enjoying this insightful video!

Have you men ever considered the work of the Holy Spirit using your gift of preaching to convicted the listener? What you perceive as critical might just be a reaction to the work of the Spirit. The Word preached does something, it is not inert, it is powerful, but to the one being pricked by the Spirit, it hurts and we lash out at the perceived source. When receiving criticism consider its source, we are called to discern Spirits even critical spirits.

Dr John Piper: Your criticism of us, of me, stung more than anything I’ve ever felt. You called us, me, of spreading falsehoods. Of naïveté. Of presumption. And all we want is to save babies from the most horrible death imaginable.

Your comments here have been both naive and presumptuous 😂

Sadly, all too common a response by great Christian leaders: My INTENTIONS were pure (in my own eyes, and maybe even others). Therefore your criticism must be wrong. But see 1Cor.4:3-4. A great 'sting' is a sign worth reflecting more upon.
