Hi Jonny! That hotel looked really lovely! I love the little details like the photos of opening day at Disneyland and that outside area (the 'not pool' bit) looked like a great hideaway to sit and take everything in. I bet it looked lovely at night with the lights!! Thanks for sharing the tour 😊 Okay, out of curiosity - I always end up asking people this at some point 😅 - (and you can tell me to mind my own if I'm being nosey) what is your favourite Disney/Pixar film and why? I know, I know that's a difficult question for any avid Disney fan that is sooo hard to answer. There are a few (to say the least) Disney films that I adore for all sorts of reasons. But I think there's always that one that just clicks a little bit more than the others. Usually. For me, if I have to choose, it has to be Tangled. The most obvious reason being the overall comic relief. I still think it's one of the funniest films Disney ever made. But that extra spark is that there are things I can relate to on a personal level. (I think that's usually the synch.) To name a few, I'm not a fan of wearing shoes for one, so I totally get that 😅 And I have wanted to visit Thailand during Yi Peng ever since I read about it when I was little long before Tangled made 'the lantern thing' a thing so I was blown away when I saw that and knew straight off what it was based on. Lastly (and by no means least) I learned the best security technique from Tangled. I do keep a frying pan in a handy location at night. Don't laugh, it's not the worst idea!! Seriously, think about it. If someone ever broke into the house and received an unexpected frying pan to the face, I can guarantee you they wouldn't stick around for long. They certainly wouldn't be expecting it! And as I live in the middle of nowhere and am the only line of defence in the house (I love my dog but a guard dog she is not 😅) that is reassuring knowledge. Thank you Disney! I once had this same (drunken) debate with my best friend and I have managed to convince him of this. He keeps a frying pan handy now too. Of course, if I'm wrong and he does get murdered to death on account, that would be all down to me. I'm sure it will be fine 😅😅 Anyhoo, totally sidetracked there. I just think that Disney and Pixar films have a lot more depth to them that non-fans who see them as just kids cartoons don't understand. And, maybe it's the writer in me, but that just makes me curious about what someone's favourite film is and why. I often find different people see these things in surprisingly different ways. If that makes sense. So. (Back to the actual point 😅) Favourite Disney film. Why. Go. Sal x

Hey Sal! sorry for the slow reply to this message! work has been mental the last few weeks so i'm a little on the go slow! But I am here now so here we gooooo! Fav film is so hard I feel I have to put them into categories and even then I cant decide! I love Tangled! its my go to when i'm feeling down! It's also the first film I watch or have on in my stateroom on EVERY cruise! im going on a none Disney Cruise soon and I've even downloaded it to my ipad to keep this tradition going! I also love Beauty and the beast too! Those are my Fav princess movies! Then I go modern film sooo it has to be Cars! love love love those films! they are just so goo! Then its the classics so Toy store, lion king and jungle book as it reminds me of being a child! and Mary Poppins! OMG this is so hard haha ! I just cant choose one! haha!! And may I say the frying pan idea ..... AMAZING! who wouldn't run for the hills when they are hit with a frying pan to the face! I 100% think this is the best security system! Although if one of us do die then maybe the others need to re think the plan haha! Hope you are okay and speak soon!!! Jonny x

There will be quieter areas in the hotel so I’d just explain that you would like that area! You could also email ahead of time maybe ! Although most of the hotel was rather quiet I have to say!
