Hi Roger ! Thanks for watching ! The room was high oceanfront and I believe those face directly towards the ocean with a smaller view of Diamond Head while deluxe oceanfront are ones with larger views of Diamond Head with the ocean. Normal oceanfront is the lower rooms I think. Definitely speak with the hotel before booking and see how they can accommodate, that’s what I did. The service was great from the hotel. Please also check out our Halepuna and Prince hotel reviews as we really liked those too. If I had to pick, I’d go with Halepuna but it all comes down to personal preference and it might not be as fun and lively as Sheraton. Hope you have a great time there ! Mahalo! Bruce

So happy to hear that you like our vlogs! I understand it's a tough decision to choose which hotel to stay at! We had three very different experiences in these three hotels. Sheraton has the best pool view, and bedroom ocean view, with great location if you want to be closer to Waikiki and a more lively city ambience. If you prefer a more low key, quiet, and high end ambience hotel which is close to Waikiki, we strongly recommend Halepuna. Their bakery made wonderful gourmet breads (even if you don't live there, we strongly you to visit, and we guarantee that you won't be disappointed) , and also all the perfect Japanese services that you will received....however, there is basically no view in the hotel room but you are going out all the time, I really don't think it's necessary to have views in the bedroom. (depends on you!). We lived at Prince when we have a car, so it's easier to go places since it's not so close to Waikiki. The harbor view is just spectacular. I am foodie, and I like convenience, so I would rank Halepuna as my personal no.1, and Prince hotel for it's huge space in the room, convenient parking, great service, and Sheraton for last to be honest :P

@@sliceofalice hi! I’m having the same debate. The only downside I see with Prince Waikiki is that is it too far to walk daily into Waikiki and no balcony. The only downside I see with Halepuna is no water view and pool closes at 6pm haha.

@@iplaidinator Hi! I’m Bruce from the video and I can definitely feel your struggle! I think it will really depend on how much you value the hotel view. If you plan on going out all the time and not visit waikiki too much, do Prince. If you want easy beach access and want a quiet and serene place to stay, do halepuna! If you want more hustle and bustle with a view, go for Sheraton. For us, we liked to go out all the time so I definitely think halepuna is good as a waikiki base since it has super easy 1 min beach access. I think the view is not as important after seeing it once or twice so definitely consider that. That’s why we did Sheraton a bit but I’d say you might get some smokers up there too unfortunately. I would probably go for Prince if you have a car and halepuna if not. Thanks for watching !

I was able to book Prince Waikiki/Halepuna/Beachcomber all for the same price and I think since we won’t have a car for most of the time we will go with Halepuna. I really like that it seems to be at the heart of Waikiki but off the strip so it’s quieter - also close to the beach so I supposed pool access after 6 isn’t a big deal! Thanks Bruce! Thanks! I don’t think anyone can smoke at the hotel nor at the balcony. But I think there is designated smoking areas a short walk from the hotel elevators. 👍

The bracelet is provided by Sheraton once you checked in to your room. Not sure if Children can get one too, but I am sure you can ask the front desk when you check in. You can use the bracelet to unlock your room, check in at the pool, and enter the Sheraton parking lot. Thanks for watching!
