You know what I love about the Banshee the most? The aftermarket for parts is so deep you can literally build one from scratch from the ground up. Not a single original Yamaha part if you want. Just need the $Dollary-doo's$.

Sorry for the ignorant question. Why is the rear axle so short? Seems a wider rear end would eliminate some of the squirliness seen in these runs.

Actually keeps it straighter. Like top fuel dragsters are setup. With wide, if one side gets more grip it can steer the whole thing to one side easier.

Back in the 90's I seen one in Glamis with a factory Yamaha TZ 750 4 cylinder 2 stroke. It showed up in dirt Wheels magazine a few months later

I made it to second 57, and remembered a thing we used to do in young grade school called "Show and tell" back in the 60's. I guess the schools stopped doing it because it was said, "It makes the poor kids feel bad.", like "showing off". I never looked at it that way, but I know you have no idea how to make the kind of money you live on now as a child. I can make that banshee even faster too. I charge a lot. :)
