Look into mids because they are usually cheaper and if your a size 7 in men’s or 8.5 in women or lower you can get kids sizes which are cheaper

You are 100% about womens sneakers, the designs and colour ways were ugly or boring for years but increasingly they are getting better and better. My personal faves are adidas alphabounce, puma muse satin, puma calis and the air force 1. Thinking of getting myself a pair of rsx. Great reviews 👍🏼

If I could have gotten my hands on the AJ1 Mid Milan, I think those would be one of my fave for 2020 Ofcourse as you said, Vans Old Skool, one classic that would never go out of style. And my other would be my Air Max 1 Premium SC Guava Ice. And it's soo true about what you've said that the men copping all the female drops! It's already so hard for us to get our hands on some decent sneakers but when the drops are meant to be for us women and they're all out of stock on our sizes just because the men copped then first. Let us women have some win for once geeze. Men has the best sneakers already for centuries!
