I just finished watching the whole Sherlock series today and wanted to have a laugh while watching a Sherlock crack. The kiss was not canon in the series, just someone's imagination. Yet it still was filmed and used for that exact purpose. Sherlock fakes his death to destroy the Criminal Network behind Moriarty undercover. It all makes sense when you watch the series
