4 жыл бұрынThe New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is an old-time radio show which aired in the USA from 1939 to 1950. The series was based on the Sherlock Holmes stories by Arthur Conan Doyle.
For most of the show's run, the program starred Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson. Other actors played Holmes and Watson in later seasons.

I haven't heard a radio Sherlock Holmes that I didn't enjoy. These KZfaq posts are going to last me a lifetime. Doesn't matter how many times I listen to them, they never get old.

I'm binge-watching these while I recover from a little accident. I got momentarily confused and groomed my hair with some Petri port wine. That was no problem, but washing down dinner with a bottle of Kreml nearly proved fatal.

@@ronostick9718 LOL, no. Kreml and most similar hair products went the way of the buggy whip, though hair gels aren't all that much different. Petri Wine is no more, either. I think they sold the business to Ernest and Julio in the 50's.

This episode features Tom Conway as Holmes; he was second-billed to Nigel Bruce as Watson after Rathbone left the radio series.
