I have been a fan of Lisa Ling from watching her on Channel One every morning in high school. It's amazing to see how far she's come.

Barbara Walters legacy is not just bringing women into broadcast journalism, but bringing ethnic women to television. African, Asian, Latin ancestry. Its good to see black and brown faces on TV news. And in Canada and France, hijabs!

Sherri Shepherd getting drunk with Martha Stewart was hilarious. Lisa Ling getting her belly button pierced was shocking, I thought she was courageous to do that.

I so loved hearing their stories.

So proud of Sherri and how far she has come.Yes I recall an interview with Connie Chung and her husband Maury (The Maury Show) she said how in her career she didn’t have time to think about having kids because woman like het and Barbara had to work extra hard to be on top of the journalist game because it was a field where mostly men were on top and picked so they had to work extra hard and sacrifice time the extra mile.

Beautiful tribute to Barbara and these women were so lucky to have had her as a guide in their career and life. Now look at these women today, They're big names in their field thanks to Barbara and themselves of course

I have been obsessed with watching all of these clips about Barbara and I have been bawling my eyes out. I always knew that I loved her but I don’t think I knew the depth of it until I started watching all of these montages and hearing all of these comments of love and sweet joyful reminiscing by her coworkers. Barbara Walters is a legend and her legacy is endless and that final segment of her final day on the view when all of the famous anchor women walked into the room that I know so well… just absolutely took the breath out of me and I could not stop crying. Rest in peace Barbara Walters! What a wonderful legacy you have left for all of us and thank you for doing the hard work that nobody else did when you were out there in the field blazing trails for countless women going forward!

Was very lucky to be able to see the view at work, because we have TV in the salon. Love you Barbara Walters, you gave your voice to women of all demographics. In a salon just like a barbershop, you gave women the voice on the view. It’s impacted my life, for 16 years. And there was a lot of conversations, because of your program.

It’s funny because the two Golden eras of the View happened to involve Barbara… we had the first 5 years where we had the original 5 & then Lisa joined for 3 years which was tv magic & then the second golden era was when Whoopi became moderator & Elisabeth & Sherri were apart of the show! They had some of the best eccentric conversations
