@@billy820 I don’t remember the specific ep but it was during Yusei and sherrys duel against one another. When he claims something along the lines of chevalier being her Ace monster then cutting back to her in silence neither confirming nor denying it. Afterwards she doesn’t duel on screen again until the climax where I’m pretty sure she used whole other deck.

She is one of the four main Antagonists of the final arc and a secondary character throughout the second season. That makes her infinitely more important for 5Ds than half the people from DM and GX that are in this game. Not that the anime treated her well though.

These videos compiling all the voice lines are neat, it's a nice way to hear everything that might be missed in-game, plus some things that are currently unused. Shame she doesn't have more voicelines, but at least they gave her a few lines for dueling different people... including Elsworth, strangely. Will we be getting him at some point? That'd be neat. As for Sherry's new English voice, it's pretty good, shame Eileen Stevens was replaced but the new VA does a good job.

@@YuzuMelodious Yep. Eileen also reprised her role of Iris at least in the Pokémon Anime’s Journeys Season 2: Master Journeys, thanks to her home studio while in Florida. Eileen’s home studio in Florida is rather sadly negated and blocked by the changes from NY and LA unless she moves to LA, which is unlikely. Then again, it’s Eileen’s own decisions to make. The chances of her moving back to NY is obviously null and void

Erika Nakagawa kills it as Sherry! I've always loved how strong and deep-sounding her voice is. I'm glad to hear her French accent again in the dub's case too, but I think Alice Himora's imitation is... alright. It's far from my least favourite recast in DL, but I definitely prefered Eileen Stevens' "dueling" voice for Sherry, though.

4Kid’s (and all incarnations of the company) love giving accents to characters and Sherry is from France and uses a French deck. It very much makes sense for her to have a French accent: As for the Japanese dub, I’d imagine it’d be more difficult to do a Japanese French accent.

will you be submitting these sound clips and the other characters' clips as well to the website "the sounds resource"? the duel links sounds on that site aren't up to date with most of the new characters, and i cannot find these sound clips anywhere else. i would download the video and convert it into an audio file, but all of these videos are missing various other sound clips like damage sounds and *_TAUNTS_* and other various side stuff. i would open the duel links files and attempt to rip it myself, but my computer cannot handle such a task and i can't even find the specific files in the folders anyway please... pretty please...

Nakagawa hasn't missed a beat as Sherry! 🥰 Unfortunately Alice Himora feels as miscast in the role as I thought Eileen Stevens was. 😅 I don't mind the French accent but both of their Sherrys are way too feminine.

I will say, I think Eileen's "dueling" performance as Sherry was rather solid. Like how she sounded like she was having the time of her life against Yusei. Alice certainly tries to capture that, but I don't quite get the likeable confidence from her take in comparison, unfortunately.

There still have a lot of potential in duel links that if rush duels not just exclusive to the sevens cast but other series too that can go rush duels too even maximum summon and sevens fusion summon I'd like to see it someday and glad to see Sherry again and she's still wanting yusei to join on her team and yeah he's the 5ds team leader so he'll honestly decline it to her.

Eileen Stevens originally voiced Sherry in the 5D’s dub (4Kids was still doing it at the time). Eileen eventually stepped down from anime dubbing roles (Tori was her last role in Duel Links) and Alice Himora is her replacement in Duel Links.

IKR, that is just wrong, she is suppose to be taken seriously but that accent make her sound like a complety CLOWN...

The accent gave her personality to me. Jap Sherry is ok, but for all we know she could be Japanese and wouldn't change anything except that she is playing a french inspired deck for some reason
