The way Sonic said "Amy, that's incredibly sweet! Thank You" Sounded so soft and genuine and makes my heart melt!😭💕💕💕💕💕☺️

Never really thought about what a Twitter takeover would actually look like but I really like the idea of all of them being at a long table to answer the questions like at a panel or some kind of event. It just feels right.

I genuenly love what they did with Amy's character in the last few years. On top of her feeling more like her own person, her infatuation with Sonic is still there but more "mature"(?) if that makes sense. Its like at this point she sees her crush on Sonic as something that used to make her act out in embarrasing ways and only drive him away, so she feels a bit ashamed of it and decided to give Sonic his space, as well as respect his boundries. Which, ironically, made him feel more comftorable around her. Now their whole relationship is more akin to a genuine friendship that borders on the flirtatious side.

Fun fact: Amy Rose did a tarot card reading on herself saying she'll marry a strong brave hedgehog who's name start with an "S".

Listening to this clip from the original, as well as watching the cutscenes from Sonic Frontiers, got me deeply thinking about the relationship between Sonic and Amy. The relationship has certainly changed for the better over the years. Amy has toned down her romantic advances and has respected Sonic's personal boundaries, treating him as a friend. Sonic seems to have appreciated Amy's initiative and is no longer distant from her. In fact, he has become comfortable being close to her. Their interaction lately signifies...a deep friendship. I will admit, I was worried that the relationship will not advance further than that. Especially at the end of the game when all of Sonic's friends will go their separate ways to pursue their own goals and personal growth. While it is necessary for both Tails and Amy to strike out on their own in order to grow stronger...I could not help but feel a sense of melancholy at the separation, especially Amy from Sonic. But, three events gave me hope: 1. When Amy went to hug Sonic at the end, not only did he receive it...he reciprocated it. Shows how far their relationship has improved. 2. While Sonic was running around exploring in the game, there were two lines that made me pleasantly surprised: "Wish we were sharing an umbrella, Amy." and "Amy, I should've made up my mind sooner." I have a suspicion that Sonic does have lingering feelings for Amy, but remains indecisive on whether to pursue it further or drop it. I have to thank "Faz Faz" for finding those clips. 3. This aforementioned clip. Amy still loving Sonic... ...though I noticed she is no longer open and forward about it...could it be because she is afraid of making it awkward for Sonic, and possibly cause him to push her away again...? Something tells me that she did a lot of soul searching, came to some painful conclusions about her previous behaviors and their consequences, and changed her course of action. Must have been rough. In either case, regardless of what Sega does later, I remain optimistic for both Sonic and Amy. And I'm looking forward to new fan-made material that this game will likely inspire.

I still can get over the fact that sonic actually accepted that compliment and not get awkward like he always did with her. Not just that, but in frontiers he was really kind with her. The guy is becoming a true CHAD

I really enjoyed this Twitter Takeover! The voice acting was phenomenal! Not to mention the way they played off each other! Sonic and Knuckles butting heads again, Shadow being a ‘frienenmy’, Amy actually talks to Sonic normally and can have conversations with him without him feeling weird or wanting to run away like the old days. It’s really nice to see how well the characters have progressed and man, have I missed these sides of them! Tails being the teasing little brother, like usual, who still sticks up for Sonic when necessary, I enjoyed it all so much! I can say, I honestly felt Sonic, irritation, frustration, confusion, and weirded out emotions through this whole thing! The acting was incredible! The way you animated this really brought out their emotions through the visuals so well! Showing how they were reacting towards each other, really enjoyed it! :D I can’t wait to see what else you do! Your art style is beautiful as well! A real inspiration for me to keep trying and to improve. Thank you! :) (I honestly would’ve probably ended up in a downer mood after the takeover if I was Sonic, considering how often the others were picking at him and even downplaying the big things he’s down for everyone over the years. The concepts and ideas of the others saying more than just constant compliments made it feel more realistic and relatable, as people are usually like that, but I still felt bad.. heh. Lol) Oh goodness, I rambled again. XD Sorry!

And to think there are still some ignoramuses out there who think Sonic outright hates Amy or that Amy hasn’t improved since the early days. It’s good for Sega to prove that neither is the case, Sonic does care for Amy very much, otherwise he wouldn’t let her tag along on adventures, and Amy has showed her maturity by respecting Sonic’s personal space and being a true friend he can rely on.

Those compliments are perfect. And if Sonic and Amy really DO have feelings for each other, they shouldn’t feel afraid or ashamed to admit it, even if their friends mess around with them about it.

I've seen so many of these Twitter Takeover clips animated, yet this one feels the most... real? I wanna say? Everyone else takes it like they're just standing around, talking to nothing. But the little table in front of them goes a long way to make this feel like this could actually be happening. Maybe like an in universe comic con.

I love how only Amy is the one that is lip synced while everyone else opens and closes their meat flaps
