Steve McQueen was a famous actor in the 60's & 70's, he was a man's man, king of cool type of character. Drank, drove fast cars and had all the beautiful actresses and women of that time.

Steve McQueen inspired this song with his iconic car chase in his film Bullet and his roles in the great Escape and his motorcycle chase. McQueen was a cool action actor prior to his death from lung cancer. Sheryl is such a diverse artist in her musicality. Her roots in loving Motown, rock and roll and county all combine in her writing. Sheryl was back up singer and musician for artists such as Michael Jackson prior to making it as a artist herself and too female Rocker in the 90s.

Actor Steve McQueen drove the Mustang in movie Bullett and the chase scene was very iconic. He also drove a motorcycle in The Great Escape, and drove race car in the movie Grand Prix. McQueen is one of the best actors in 60s and 70s. The original Mr Cool.

Steve McQueen starred in many movies, but was well-known for doing his own stunts. One of his most iconic movies was Bullitt, where he drove a dark green mustang through the streets of San Francisco - or more like flew it through. Lots of arial jumps. The car is an absolute classic and Ford comes out with new versions of it every few years. It has quite a cult following - and quite price tag too.

He also did a great jump over the barbed wire fence in The Great Escape movie. He was a skilled motorcyclist and starred with Malcolm Smith (who is somewhere near 80 and still riding and was one of the greatest off road riders to ever live) in the movie On Any Sunday. About off road motorcycles in the early 70's .

Great choice!! Steve was the “king of cool” and is still one of the top performers til this day. This chase, in the movie “Bullitt”, is the greatest car footage ever. Big shout to the Dodge Charger (I used to have a 1973) and Ford Mustang!! His son, Chad, is racecar driver as well. You can see Steve chase himself, dressed as a nazi , in “The Great Escape”. Lightning McQueen is dedicated to him. Sheryl Crow!!! Thanks, Asia and BJ!!

I wore out this CD!! Cheryl Crow is , was and still is bad ass!! She started out as a back up singer for MJ…. I’m sorry I do t remember exactly when or what songs she contributed too, but that’s where she got her start! Fast forward a few years and she made a name for herself as a songwriter , performer , performing with the biggest names in Rock History! She’s been out of the spotlight for several years and now has a book out. I just love her and what she’s able to bring to the table as a Top female artists!!! ✌🏼❤️

Steve McQueen was a famous actor, that was the strong quiet guy best know for the chase scene in his movie "Bullet" with a green mustang. He also was really into racing cars & dirt bikes & made movies about them. Long career with many hit movies & general badass. The original "Thomas Crowne affair" is a classic.

I use to see her in a band, called Cashmere in college in Columbia Mo. night clubs. Then later in the St. Louis night clubs, she was a teacher back then. Steve McQueen was a stuntman turned actor, so he would do his own stunts. In the video , Sheryl is driving the actual, Iconic Mustang, Steve McQueen drove in the iconic movie "Bullet". Also, the other car in the video is being driven by NASCAR's favorite son, Dale Earnhardt Junior. Also, the character "Lighting McQueen" is in reference to Steve McQueen . Actor Steve McQueen was super famous back in the day. 60s and 70s. In his real life, he loved car racing, but loved motorcycle racing even more. Steve actually competed in some motorcycle races.

Hey great choice of songs! Love it...and just for the record, the car "swinging" is not a visual effect. Steve McQueen was notorious for doing all his own stunts. I believe this is from Bullitt, and is a 1968 Mustang GT. (The effect is that she is driving!) Good eye though, unless she's a professional driver. Love the channel!

Sheryl Crow has a ton of great songs of several different styles. She writes a lot of her own songs, and she plays about a dozen instruments. She’s done duets with Kid Rock (Picture, Collide) and Sting (I Was Always On Your Side), and Joe Walsh, too. Don Henley and Stevie Nicks have done vocals for her. Deep rabbit hole definitely worth exploring.

Although many here note McQueen car chase in "Bullitt", when it comes to cool, McQueen's first real movie role as the co-lead in the first "The Magnificent Seven" (an adaptation of Kurosawa's "Seven Samuri") really defined him. Note in the movie how in every scene he had with Yul Brynner, McQueen attempts to steal the scene in one way or another.

... ... I just finished watching tonight's PBS NewsHour's segment on musician Jon Batiste (of Late Night with Stephen Colbert). It was VERY interesting. John Baptiste's sincerity, and devotion to making the world a little bit of a better place is definitely moving. Maybe react to the PBS segment … or … just watch it to determine whether or not you wanna explore the Jon Batiste rabbit-hole. PBS opened my eyes to Jon. He’s special.

Steve McQueen played in the Great Escape in the 60's, Epic ol school movie! The plot of the movie was during WW1 he was in a prisoner of war camp and along with some others and he was always trying to escape , he was. A bad boy type on a final escape on a motorcycle. The plot is Hogans Hero's that Great Escape movie is where Hogans Hero's got it's plot from

Steve McQueen was the leading box office star for a while and was noted for his macho including making a movie about the LeMans race where he actually was a driver. Notable movies include 'The Great Escape', 'Bullitt' and 'The Thomas Crown Affair'. He was also in a number of TV series including 'Wanted Dead or Alive'. There was a documentary about him called 'The King of Cool'.

Besides being a movie star, Steve McQueen had an old Western TV series “Wanted: Dead or Alive” where he played a bounty hunter. It’s still in syndication and on TV all the time.
