Sheryl Hackett was blessed with the voice of an angel, and today, her voice still gives the listener lovely goosebumps.
Born on the 4th May, 1959 in Barbados. Sheryl learned guitar and vocals at 13 years, while attending the Alexandra School. At age 15 she became the drummer of one of the first women's bands in Barbados. After leaving school she became a professional musician, playing in various bands on the Island. In 1979 she won best female singer of the country. Then in 1980 she moved to Germany with a reggae and soul band.
In addition to her live performances in various German and international bands, she became established as a session musician and background singer with time.

Sadly, Sheryl Hackett died on the 29th January, 2005 at the age of 45 years.
