She didn’t actually use salt, she used super-absorbent resin / super-absorbent polymer (actual name). As the name suggests, it’s super absorbent. It sucked up all the water, and the leftover was to thick to come out. Same thing is used in instant snow.

It's sodium polyacrylate. Sodium acetate is just the sodium salt of vinegar 😅

Wrong, she DID used salt. She added salt on "ICE-COLD-WATER" and the salt made the water drop down to freezing point because of Science.

@@RicciUwU that would lower the freezing point making stay liquid longer. That’s why they use it on roads in the winter. Just like antifreeze added to water lowers the freezing point.

The fact she added salt gave it away when you Freeze water that is purified It doesn't actually freeze it means an element in order to freeze a dirt particle saw minerals. So what happens is when you pull it out the freezer pour it in a cup and add salt it turns to a block of ice.

@@MiaRosenbloom Salt doesn't melt ice it absorbs moisture. You have to remember ice is technically expanded water. It appears as if salt is melting ice but what it's doing is absorbing the water that's why we use large chunks of salt to salt our roadway.
