Shia LaBeouf has officially been baptized into the Catholic Church. In an interview with Bishop Barron, who baptized him, he revealed that he was even interested in becoming a deacon. He is now a completely new person.

Praying the 15 decade rosary meditating on Christs life death and resurrection, followed by the our lady of 7 sorrows has changed my life, revealing defects and what I needed to work on in my own life. It’s granted me a peace despite adversaries that I’ve never experienced before. Our lady pray for us, carrying our intercessions prayers of the saints to Christ. Christ have mercy on us. May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible, and ineffable Name of God be forever praised, blessed, adored, loved, and glorified, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth,* by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. I was raised Catholic but I rebelled most of my life. I felt I didn’t get a choice and my parents just “made me go”. I stopped going to church in my early twenties and yes there was a void I couldn’t quite understand. Then I started spending time with the right people and helped me to understand my religion more. I’m now going to church again and I will say, I feel peace I haven’t felt in a long time… maybe ever. And I do feel sorry for the younger people who scoff at the idea of God. I find them very unhappy and like I was, they probably can’t put their finger as to why. Good for Shia. No doubt he’ll look back on his life and see this role as Father Pio as the best one he’d ever done. Who knows, maybe Father Pio up in heaven gave him a gentle nudge.

I’m the exact same. Grew up Catholic, felt in my late teens/early twenties the same as you did, that I was forced to go. Now in my mid 20s, I’m becoming Catholic all over again. I think it’s important for one to find God and religion their self. I wouldn’t change a thing about my past, God has strengthened my faith by making me take the long route. I’m eternally grateful.

Dude got baptized by Bishop Baron, that’s pretty epic. My 15 year old son has been collecting Bishop Barons Word On Fire series. About a year ago my son, out of the blue wanted to be baptized through the Catholic church. We are not Catholic but we are fully supportive of him on his journey to becoming a member of. He takes required classes and loves the whole process. My boy gets baptized in April. He is a blessing, but I can’t wait to see his face when I tell him Shia got baptized and has become catholic as well.

Why aren't you following along with him into the Catholic Church? If you're Protestant, I recommend reading the early church fathers from before the Council of Nicaea and Constantine, and seeing what those Christians believed. According to the Protestant reformers, the church originally taught Protestant theology and interpreted the bible as protestants do, and then sometime in the fourth century Catholic beliefs started being introduced. Well, that's a historical claim that can be tested. Simply pick up what was written before the fourth century and see if it's theologically Protestant, and see if Catholic beliefs didn't exist yet. If so, then Protestantism is true. If you don't find Protestant beliefs, but find Catholic beliefs, then Protestantism is not true.

Watch Trent Horn (former protestant), Jimmy Akin (former Calvinist), Dr. Scott Hahn (former Protestant Pastor and theologian), and Keith Nester (former Protestant Pastor). Furhtermore read the early Church fathers who existed even before the canonization of the Bible and got their teachings from the Apostles. All of this has converted me from Protestantism to Catholicism, and since that time my prayer life has increased probably 10 times more than when I was a Protestant, and Ive felt 10x more of a connection with God then I ever did when I was a Protestant.

I am just so so thrilled for Shia! I converted to the Catholic faith in 2020, and feel like I have truly found the truth of what God wants for my life, and have grown a much deeper understanding of his word, and truth. When I saw Shia’s discussion with Bishop Barron last year I found it so inspiring, and I’ve been praying for him ever since, and I just feel so much joy for him to be in full communion with The Church, and get to receive the Eucharist, which is so so special after having to wait for so long. I pray Gods blessings upon him, and that he always walk closely with the Lord❤️🙏🏻

I’m a catholic myself, I have to say that I am so happy that he finally found peace and joining into the catholic faith. Shia himself had been through a dark past and we all know that, he’s deeply wound and hurt internally. But god bless him. I have to say, I was like him before. Hurt, angry, and all but as I finally confirm myself into the catholic faith. I’ve never been so happy. I was ready to forgive, let go of the past, and more. God is always good. The craziest miracles occurred around Padre Pio. I remember reading a testimony on a bomber during WW2 about to flatten the monastery at San Giovanni Rotondo where he was and before he unloaded the bombs, he saw a monk in the Sky, baffled at what he was he didn't drop them. Later he recognised him as Padre Pio.

I used to be radically left, addicted to drugs and alcohol and spending money of material things looking for something deeper with crystals and witchcraft. That was my life before finding God, and now he has completely changed my life forever. I will forever be greatful to God for the tremendous peace I’ve experienced in my heart. it’s a different kind of peace, it’s indescribable, but completely addicting. I really hope everyone gets the opportunity to experience it.

Shia was part of a tanker division with a few other badass dudes, and would always recite bible verses and such. It's a great movie but not really historically accurate, but still a good watch.

I had a terrific dream, being welcomed into Catholic open arms by Shia Lebauf, and he was happy as I was. I am a Transformers fan, but what hit me most is that the love of Christ made me see what was missing...not the past, but the present tense future. I am not the best church man and I suffer from schizophrenia, but if any miracle can happen, maybe when my next opportunity comes, I will approach it. I like to call myself a Brother in Christ, thanks to beautiful family and friends. Thanks be to God all times, bless you Candace Owens, I love my blessed family so much, and I will let God direct me. As a protestant, this makes me happy. Someone coming to Christ is always something to celebrate! Even though we have differences I consider most Catholics as brothers and sisters in Christ, and I would worship and take Communion with you.

Unfortunately, because you don’t believe that the Eucharist is Jesus’ actual body and blood, you wouldn’t be able to take Communion with us. Since you don’t believe in the miracle of the Eucharist, it would not work for you and remain bread and wine.

I know by your words that you are a person of good feelings, and it's amazing you love God, but I will suggest the next time you read the Bible to focous on what Jesus said in the gospels about the chuch and you will find out that He only founded one chuch! God bless him! Only way I was saved was learning why I needed to be baptized, then joining the church and being baptized with all my heart and soul.. I had a I guess “strange encounter” or just a quick super natural experience, I really don’t know I’m still praying on what it means and trying to understand..but fact is I was saved and I’ve read the Bible and I do my Bible studying and it’s most truthful book! Once I became born again, things started changing for the better in my life and the people around me in my life.. I started to see the sin in things I used to love and still like some what but I choose to not participate or listen to any of it.. God bless! Thank you for letting me share! Praying for you Shia! I was raised Catholic but my parents went on a random journey of going through all religions and so I lost my faith. I am back now at 29 years old and when I say it feels like I’m home… there’s no other feeling like this. God is with me ❤ much blessings to you Shia
