A modern Mark Twain style adventure story, "The Peanut Butter Falcon" tells the story of Zak (Zack Gottsagen), a young man with Down syndrome, who runs away from a residential nursing home to follow his dream of attending the professional wrestling school of his idol, The Salt Water Redneck. A strange turn of events pairs him on the road with Tyler (Shia LaBeouf), a small-time outlaw on the run, who becomes Zak's unlikely coach and ally. Together they wind through deltas, elude capture, drink whiskey, find God, catch fish, and convince Eleanor (Dakota Johnson), a kind nursing home employee charged with Zak's return, to join them on their journey.
BUILD is a live interview series like no other-a chance for fans to sit inches away from some of today’s biggest names in entertainment, tech, fashion and business as they share the stories behind their projects and passions. Every conversation yields insights, inspiration and plenty of surprises as moderators and audience members ask questions. It all happens several times a day live and live-streamed on BUILDseries.com.

He is excellent at giving the cast time to genuinely answer the questions instead of trying to move on to the next planned question like a lot of other interviewers tend to do. If someone hasn’t seen this then it’s a must. It’s a really beautiful and heartwarming film that reminds me of my brother and reminds me how lucky I am to have him in my life. It made me so sad to hear people speak about a disabled person in a derogatory way in the film. Though it’s realistic because there are awful people that say awful things. However this film focuses on the brilliance of the human spirit and people having dreams despite their adversity. I know I have been a bit vague but I don’t want to spoil the film for anyone.

This is for sure one of the best interviews I've ever seen in my life... The one that informed me about this movie (which I will definitely watch) and made me feel warm. And I also had a good laugh and it made me think about the nature of these human beings, not Hollywood actors and about their special relationship

Le Subariste They were asked what their favorite memory was and Shia said that it was hard to pick one because he’s never been in a movie with people that he’s loved so much but that his favorite memory was sitting on a boat with just the comfortability of being with his loved ones even while in silence

It's been so great watching Shia open up his acting to such a wide range of roles and really watching him flourish in every single role. Watching him turn his life around while starring in these tremendous movies has been truly magical. It's crazy how movies like Honey Boy and Peanut Butter Falcon have flew under the radar despite the fact that they are top tier movies.

You can see they love they have for Zac. He seems like the purest love you could find. And Dakota seems the nicest person ever with so much love as well. Shia is so amazing too. He has so much soul and to many give him a bad rap for having a issues. Don’t most of us though, except Zac. He’s on a whole different level of greatness. I love have you can see all the respect and protectiveness they give Zac.

This interview and this vid's comment section convinced me to go watch this movie. Now I'm waiting for it to come out in France. It might be shown in even fewer theaters than the US though * sigh *
