Well the artist of BL manga yoshuke namura was involed as the main key animation and art director in this episode, that why all the art styles and emotional expressions in this ep was so detailed and literally matched with the quality of manga

I didn’t know shit about this character but I saw a manga panel about him and it didn’t really spoil me of the story but I know this guy is going to be a menace. As soon as I saw him I was like god damm. His voice fits him perfectly too. Poor kuginami tho. He was my favorite in the beginning but my top 3 rn are Nagi, Barou, isagi.

@@piranhazzzzz yeah that was a bad take, but they had to make it fit in 24 eps, i think when Kunigami returns they will add those panels as a flashback which would be much more surprising and exciting for the anime only viewers and satisfy the manga readers too to some extent

Interesting small details u might have overlooked: Kurona's BL rank is 4, which means he is a frontrunner (despite shidou stealing his spotlight) The light blue haired guy that enters right before Kurona is named Tetsu, which is an obvious reference to the light blue haired protagonist in Kuroko' basketball, named Tetsuya

BlueLock is one of the best things that I've ever watched. Blue Lock was nothing like any other Sports anime I've ever seen, it's like a battle Shonen Anime with Soccer as its power system, I am so thrilled for Season 2 and I hope Season 2 will have better animtion and budget, cause a such a peak fiction anime like this deserves an excellent adaptation.
