Legislated Tawassul 1. Calling upon Allah by His lofty Names & Attributes. 2. Calling upon Allah while mentioning you GOOD DEEDS. 3. going to a righteous person who is ALIVE (not dead) and asking them to make dua on your behalf.

Be careful fellow muslims, we constantly argue and try to prove our point at cost of hurting our muslim brothers, and we, in the meantime, forget that self-purification is the center of knowledge. I see a lot of people claiming to be on the supposed "right path" of the salaf, but that claim is a mirror of "arrogance" in itself. A lot of us are busy wrestling with fellow muslims over trivial matters and we lose ourselves and waste precious time. I don't care about salafi, sufi, shi'i, deobandi or whatever. The moment we feel that we're better than someone and that we are the ONLY "rightly guided " people, we immediately go astray with the poison of arrogance and are plunged into the fire. So let us turn inward and examine ourselves, are we really like the salaf in our attributes and belief? A lot of people attribute their understanding to the salaf but this assertion is nothing but "arrogance"... Your nafs is indirectly saying "I am better than he, all glory belongs to me" wa Astagfirullah!!! Lets unite and look in the mirror at ourselves, all of us are corrupted in some shape or form and to even think you are like a sahabi or salaf or whatever shows that arrogance has touched you! We live in a world we're everyone is opinionated and wants to be heard, we are nothing like the salaf... May Allah ta'ala forgive those who even believe that they are equal to the dust on their feet!!!!

Self Observation, Self Rectification, Self Discipline and so on and so forth (All with the Help and Will of Allaah of course) is a must. We must constantly observe ourselves, restrain ourselves and better ourselves. We must also observe our brothers and advise them in hopes to better them. But your saying that if a person knows the straight path and he calls to it is arrogance - is, frankly speaking, foolish and incorrect. First you must go back to the hadeeth of the Rasulullaah salla Allaahu 'alayhi wa salam where he said (in meaning), "Arrogance is TO REJECT THE TRUTH and to look down on the people." So a person who knows the truth and holds on to it and calls to it and he rejects and shuns all falsehood is by no means Arrogant, rather he is Sincere to the Truth and he is far from rejecting it. And if you are saying a person doesnt know the Truth and its impossible to know the truth and the straight path, once again, this is foolish and incorrect. You must go back and study your religion from authentic sources, from trustworthy transmitters. The Messenger of Allaah already informed us that this ummah will split into 73 sects and all of them is in the fire EXCEPT ONE! And who are they? Our Noble Prophet (May Allaah raise his rank and grant him peace) already informed us, they are those who are on what he and his companions are on! The Qur'aan! The Sunnah! The Understanding of the Sahaba! This is the Truth maaan. Cling to it! Call to it! And Reject and Oppose everything that goes agaisnt it! Be sincere in your religion! Our Noble Prophet (May Allaah Raise his Rank and Grant him Peace) already warned us, "That the MOST EVIL OF AFFAIRS ARE THE NEWLY INVENTED MATTERS! AND EVERY NEWLY INVENTED MATTER IS A BID'AH! AND BID'AH IS A DALAALA! A MISGUIDANCE! A GOING ASTRAY! AND EVERY DALAALA IS IN THE FIRE! O Slave of ALLAAH BE SINCERE IN YOUR DEEEEEN! Oppose this Evil! Refute this Evil! Refute its People who carry this Evil! Shun them! Turn Away from them! This is not Arrogance! By Allaah! Wallaahi this is NOT KIBR! THIS IS WORSHIP! THIS IS NASEEHA! THIS IS CERTAINTY UPON THE TRUTH! THIS IS SINCERITY UPON THE TRUTH! We are commanded with Enjoining the Good and Forbidding the Evil! And what is better than the Words of Allaah? What is better than the Deen of Allaah? And Who is better than those who call to this? And who is better in speech than he who says: "My Lord is Allah" and then stands straight, and invites to Allah, and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims." And what is more evil than these newly invented matters (into the religion)? And who is more evil than the one who calls to them? O slaves of Allaah, learn your religion. This knowledge is a matter of religion, so be careful to whom you take your religion from.

Forbidden Tawassul 1. Calling upon the dead in their graves seeking istighatha (refuge) istiaadah (rescue) and istiaanah (help) from them. 2. Seeking tabbaruk (blessings) from other than the legislated places i.e Makkah, Medinah, Al Aqsa. e.g your shaikhs turban or his favourite sitting place or his miswak or whatever else the sufis seek blessings from.

SUBHANALLAH, A MUSLIM TALKING ABOUT HOW ALLAH REJECTED THE QURAYSH WHEN THEY WERE SEEKING INTERSESSION FROM THEIR gods.in the fisrt instance, these are non believers and they worship idols. IT IS BECAUSE OF THEM ALLAH SENT THE PROPHET TO WORSHIP ALLAH AND NOT TO WORSHIP THEIR SMALLER gods.FOR ME IN PARTICULAR, I KNOW THE PROPHET PBUH IS STILL ALIVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE ALIVE JUST LIKE HOW HE WAS FROM THE BEGINNING. ANYTIME YOU SEEK INTERCESSION WITH UR FIRM BELIEVE, ALLAH WILL ANSWER YOU.

where was prophet Mohammed PBUH buried. is it not in his home and now is part of the masjid of the prophet in Madinah.

The prophet alaiyhi salam was buried in aisha's house and it was the kalif marwan ibn hakam who incorporated his grave in the masjid this was towards the latter time of the atba tabi'in who OPPOSED it. Furthermore the hadith in bukhari forbids the building masjids upon graves!! Alhamdulillah in saudi they have the guards there to prevent people from going to extremes when visiting the prophets grave.

The prophet alaiyhi salam forbade building mosques upon graves. He forbade taking his OWN grave a place of gathering and celebration. The sahaba never celebrated his bithday. These sufis are drowning in shirk and bid'a. The shaytaan has them over a barrel. May Allah guide you to understand HIS noble book and sunnah the way the SALAF understood it.

The intercession of the prophet alaiyhi salam is for THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT. Calling upon the dead seeking intercession is SHIRK so fear Allah and desist from this deviated practice. Read sura zumar verse 39 on how the quraysh used to seek intercession from lat and uzzah and how Allah Rejected their claim.

I'm sure you know the burda of al busayri right? He said the prophet came to him in a dream and taught him to recite it. So the sufis accepted it WITHOUT QUESTION and continue to sing this till today even though some of the passages contain clear SHIRK!! "oh best of mankind (Muhammad) in you I seek refuge in when the calamity strikes" ...this is SHIRK!!! why didnt he seek refuge in Allah!!!

Was there a 'watchman' in the time of the sahabah or the tabi'een or the atbaa tabi'een? Furthermore, I did not say that you cant see the prophet in your dream. I said you cannot VERIFY what he said or didnt say. But you sufis take the saying of your 'shaikhs' as if it is REVELATION!! So your 'shaikh' says "the prophet said this and this and that and you accept it WITHOUT question.. and your shaikhs contradict the quran and you would still ACCEPT IT.

So the sufi shakhs say "the prophet alaiyhi salam came to me and this" and u ACCEPT "The prophet alaiyhi salam came to me last and said that." u ACCEPT. Why didnt you weigh his statements with what it in the Quran, the sunnah and the ijma? Does it agree? Does it oppose? You people dont ask these questions and then fall into Misguidence and innovation and then eventually SHIRK! Allahu musta'an.

citisolo1 Imam dhahabi said 'he was a good man a salafi ' when referring to one of the great imams. Imam Sabooni (died 150H) wrote the book 'aqeedah tu salaf wa ashaabul hadeeth'. Indeed the prophet alayhi salam said to fatima 'I am a blessed salaf for you' (bukhari). So how is this a new term? Secondly, where did the term tijaaniyah come from? Was abu haneefa tijaani? What about imam malik? Was he upon your innovated tassawuf? Did he call upon the dead like you graveworshippers do? Did he practice 'wazifa'? Did Ahmed ibnu Hambal erect tombs over the graves? Go and learn Tawheed and free yourself from Shirk and Bid'a!!

All of the usage you quoted referred to the actual Salaf, that is, our Salaf(forefathers)! so how are the people of today Salaf ? who are they the Salaf of ? You might as well call yourselves the 'Sahabas' .

So we attach ourselves to the salaf...like a person says 'Im Yemini' he attaches himself to Yemin because that's his country of origin..likewise we say salafi because we return our methodology to that of the SALAF...get it!!

Reply to succeed006... 'shaikh' mahey is NOT an awliayh of Allah. The awliayh are those who call to the book of Allah and the sunnah with the UNDERSTANDING of the salaf. The tijani tariqah opposes the the sunnah and many usool (fundamentals) of the deen.

Errors in aqidah and manhaj. 1. Seeking istighatha (aid) from the dead in their graves.. I witnessed this myself. 2. Using weak and fabricated hadith to support their INNOVATIONS i.e the mawlid, group zhikr, lailatul miraj and baraat and wazifa. 3. Blind following their shaikhs even when they oppose the sunnah. Equating the dreams of their shaikhs with the wahey (revalation)

@@Dani-bx9db Calling upon Allah through the right of the dead is an innovation in the religion. For example, if one was to say: "oh Allah grant me such and such for the sake (or right) of (Name of Dead Shaikh) then this is NOT shirk but a cursed INNOVATION. As for the person who requests the dead to take their dua to Allah (Tawwasul), then this is pure shirk. An example of this is when someone says: "Oh (Name of dead Shaikh) I ask Allah through your waseelah to grant me such and such. The Tijanis practice both these forbidden forms of Tawassul which means they float between bid'a (innovation) and kufr (disbelief).
