Miami. Walking the streets with Leica in hand. Yes, there was a project, a story, and a fellow photographer involved. South Florida is unlike any other area in the United States. A mix of cultures, landscapes, and range of wealth or lack thereof. You have the high and the mighty mixed with a very specific urban wild.
Bikes up, guns down. Two strokes, wheelies, and controlled mayhem. Think "Streets of Fire," but in the tropics. Hide and watch.
A shout out to the folks who were part of this day and for allowing us to walk, shoot and engage.

I have said this before and I am going to say it again.. the way you use black screens in between your videos is just courageous and outrageous at the same time. it's a master stroke and gives a sense that you know what you are doing

That was a fun shoot. Those roids fade like crazy. Luckily I scanned them shortly after returning home.

I don't understand why your posting them on social media. You spoke about instagram and people on it who do not bother to imitate each other and at the end everything is a watered-down element of everything. However, glad I could listen to your writings and go through your photographs. Your a gem, brother!

I was talked with learning motion, by my employer. Part of that process means putting in online. The balance between being a loner and working for someone else.

Ha, well said. I've got a few more coming. The hard part is these require a fair amount of content. Collecting all that in the field, at one time, is damn hard.

I've always loved the marriage of sound to stills, this video really has rekindled it! (scans room for my Zoom recorder) It reminded me of this pivotal moment in Photo school when we were shown this 10 min short. Produced by a local legend of a photographer. www.nfb.ca/film/ted_baryluks_grocery/

I love hearing the audio from an event alongside the images made by a photographer. I wrote a short blog post about this a while back, and posted a couple images on Instagram (I don't know why) illustrating my point. Search Instagram for the hashtag #stillimageaudio. There are only two images.

Incredible photograph! From the fleeting glimpses I like most of them. Would love to look at them longer. Did you record the audio back then, or is that something you‘ve added later?
