One thing that’s hard to recognize because the anime messed with the timeline is that Deku, Shoto and Bakugou have been working with Endeavor consistently for 3 months. Endeavor is the best teacher in the story, the three of them have all become powerful, competent heroes at this point.

@@Deep_chocolate by far. It isn’t even close. Under his watch Deku went from being unable to use black whip and only able to move around at 8% to being able to use black whip and OFA 45%. Deku, Shoto and Bakugou became significantly stronger while under him.

@@brandonv6905 I think because they re-ordered the events and removed a bit of dialogue it’s difficult to realize that Endeavor had the three of them training tirelessly to be ready for this day. His mission was to make them strong enough to handle all of this stuff.

The Endeavor/Shigaraki fight showed why Shigaraki needed more quirks. Endeavor would have killed Shigaraki no diff if Shigaraki wasn’t the perfect Nomu with regeneration, physical abilities comparable to All Might, and All For One. Endeavor was fast enough to dodge Shigaraki’s hands and completely engulf him flames and roast him alive. Despite Decay’s OP quality there are still effective counter measures against it. Like Shigaraki said, despite all his power, Re-Destro still lived, so that meant Shigaraki needed more power to deal with new threats that could challenge him. Threats like Endeavor.

9:33 I knew as soon as I seen this episode, Rob was gonna say that was Deku crying there due to the way the anime depicted that small scene (not in manga with that specific shot) cutting off his eyes for someone to misinterpret as tears. Dang. lol It was sweat though, as shown in the manga seeing his whole face. Anime was going for the scene being more dramatic to cut off part of his face there. Jerry is right though, they would put more emphasis if it was crying to see clearly. lol

Its actually quite a contrast to characters in shonen that always have to be almost too badass and not show emotions. It makes it feel more human and realistic. If you wanna throw punches at him crying at something that isn't necessary whatever but majority of his crying scenes were at deep important moments.

Why does Rob (the guy at the right end) hate deku? Endevour is cool and all but he does need help to win this, he's acting like Endeavour is the best when Shigaraki outclasses him in power here. Also I don't feel there will be a training arc this season, everything is happening now and fast. There is no time to train and learn anything, especially when there is no one to teach deku as they are all fighting.

I think episode 4 (the pro heroes fighting in the lab), looked the best art/animation wise for MHA episodes this season so far. You can see even the little motions of high quality animation of how the characters moved, like Shigaraki falling outside the tube.

Hoping after this fight, Deku will have an arc in which he starts to unlock/discover/start using the other quirks that he has access to. Seems like it’s setting him up for that, especially when he used one of his attacks to try and stop the decay and it didn’t do anything.

I see 2nd guy's favourite is deku, 4th one's bakugo, last one's endeavour.... Middle dude just enjoying episode. This episode shigaraki taking flights like superman, deku swinging in air like Spiderman ,endeavour giving minato's rasengan styled fire punch in back to shigaraki 🔥 moments
