This song reminds me of a girl I had a crush on. She was always so nice to me and brightened my day up when I was going through a rough time in my life. I was sitting alone in the library and out of nowhere she sat next to me and started talking to me. When she left I started crying. I never been treated with such kindness in my life. Ever since then I would think of her all the time. After many months I found out she had a boyfriend. I wasn't sad. I was happy. She had a boyfriend so that meant she was happy. In the end that was all that mattered. If she was happy, I was happy. I didn't have a selfish mindset because I genuinely loved her so much. I'm just happy she is happy.

Was just watching a documentary on Universe....KAORI was just like supernova..she out shined everything but she died young. supernovas give life to others and they are rare... she gave life to ARIMA and then she disappeared forever...she needed someone to say her goodbye....find.......I`m learning piano and soon violin...thanks to KAORI.....live your dream, dont look down... dont press the reset button...I`m not going to forget KAORI or this anime ..they will be treasured in tiny bit of my heart and will be remembered through out my life....

I managed to watch most of the series without crying. Then came the second half of the last episode. WHEN SHE SAID THE LIE AND THIS MUSIC PLAYED, I DIED. I'm teen dude that doesn't usually cry, but I was weeping at this scene. It is amazing how powerful a tv show can be. Even though the show is not perfect, I'll give it credit for having outstanding animation, some great characters, perfect music, and tear jerking as heck.

My goodness, this is so satisfying to play. I can't play it without crying afterwards. The anime really saved my life (yes, I tried commiting suicide many times) and even got me to pick up the piano. It's been there when I wanted it to be there for me. It was such a great support. Everytime I play this song I get reminded of the things I've done not too long ago, but even more just how much this anime hit me. Anime, in general, has really got me back on track again. I know this sounds stupid, but it's the truth. I would've been dead right now if it weren't for some Anime like this one. I admit, I'm still not completely restored and have trouble with even the slighest of setbacks (due to some really rough events which would be too much to talk about), but at least I'm still here. Anime made me go from a depressed person who ended up in the hospital almost weekly for self-harming to a proud pianist and someone who actually regained the motivation to tackle the struggle called "life". I know most of you won't care, and if you don't, don't even bother responding to this comment. Thanks for reading anyways, just wanted to share the beauty of Anime like these and how they really can save someone. Good day ^^

I know this will get lost in the sea of comments but this playing just helped me so much. I have been dealing with insane amounts of anxiety and for the first time ever with a piece of music, while listening to it I genuinely felt everything wash away... I wasn't thinking about anything, I wasn't crying or sad, I was just listening to the music. Near the end it was like a voice told me about all of my anxieties even the ones i didn't realize I had, and it told me how I don't need to worry about it anymore... Your Lie In April always makes me think about a certain person. She was my upperclassman and I never understood why she was so kind to me. I won't lie, I'm pretty sure I was an awful person back then. But I was that way because of my own self hatred. But when she talked to me for the first time my world lit up. She lift me out of my mundane life. She truly gave me a reason to wake up everyday. And that reason was of course that I'd get to meet her again. Naturally, I fell in love with her. And every time she would talk to me my entire world would take color and everything felt wonderful. Well, a little time goes by and she graduates. I graduated a year later and I haven't heard anything from her ever since. But still, that doesn't matter. Because she made me feel things I hadn't felt in so long. She introduced me to a life I could've never imagined before. She quite literally turned my entire world upside down but in a good way I guess. I hope she's doing well.

Every time I listen to this song, I can't help but tear up. Beautiful

i just rewatched your lie in april and the ending left me in such sadness and void i'm practically clenching my fist the whole episode. i know the ending is what made this anime legendary, but this is just so cruel. so cruel.

this cover changed the rather upbeat tune of the actual song into a melancholy pianic tune that this is. i love also how ishter played it in higher note than it actually is in several part, which feels really nice to me. I'm really hoping Isther only take a sabbatical and not forever stopping creating cover, because his cover is unique, maybe not as complicated Animenz', but I feel there's so much feels from his works.

This would be great to play for those sad moments in life...

Kirameki is really Underrated.

Man, what a beautiful interpretation. The tone quality is superb like always. I've actually been working on the Kirameki section of my Shigatsu all OP and ED medley for the past few days and started running into some writer's block, but listening to the slow version of this song really provided some uplifting inspiration.

My heart hurts😭 i just finished watching, and this film touched the inner core of my soul, i realized too on how much i love music, and i can feel so much your genuine feelings being poured as you make your fingers dance on the piano, Im so bittteeeer but its still sweet.😭

it's been years since I hear this song for the1st time and one thing that I just can't help to say is how mellow Isther has turned this piece into. It never cease to amaze me how much melancholy I feel from this version, compared to the more upbeat Wacci's original. Although I have seen quite some pianist making piano covers, I say Isther has a unique knack when he works on melancholic piece. This one in particular is a work of a genius!

Putting the English lyrics made me cry even more. So that the people who are listening to the music also focus on the meaning of this music . 😭😭😭😭😭❤️

I have just rewatched this anime. Just because Netflix will take it down on 9 oct and I really want to enjoy it again, maybe also the last time. I like how the original song and this version give a different meaning to the lyrics. The upbeat and guitar driven sound of the first version gives you that looking back, but content feeling, while this... this is just depressing... like death just took someone you loved and now you're just on the piano, letting out the emotions
