I've noticed with current videos of concerts in many parts of Europe that he looks very serious. That he has lost that.....animation, looseness, that beautiful smiling face on stage that subtle flirtyness he use to have. Yes, he's older now but.........gosh, that presentation of youthfulness seems to have gone. His orchestration and stage presence has become very sophisticated and polished now, it blows me away. He is professional in every way. I love the guy. One day they'll all be gone...........and so will we. So thank you Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music for everything past and present.

For me, Neil Young and Bryan Ferry are the best entertainer and composer who has been transforming reality into poetry for decades. The music is able to make me happy and free me from bad feelings. He is authentic and has the formula that touches people with his music and makes the H2O atoms in the body vibrate. In 1976, our father left us when we were 9, 11 and 13 years old. Cancer. Our mother had to work nights to give us a “nice” childhood. When we were alone at home, we often listened to music like Neil Young's "Harvest Moon." Songs like “Heart of Gold” gave us hope and confidence. Today, 50 years later, people have definitely lost their way - climate change, Ukraine etc. 4 days ago I heard Neil Young's live concert in Chicago, 1992 | for the first time PBS Center Stage on KZfaq by "depleis" where he plays "Like a Hurricane" on the harmonium. We had no money for musical instruments, but we did have an old harmonium from our grandmother that we played a lot as children. This new video touches me very much because I define “Like a Hurricane” as one of the most beautiful songs and pieces of music in cultural history. When I'm feeling well, I listen to and watch Bryan Ferry's "Nuits de Fourviere Live in Lyon - Like a Hurricane HD" by "dp" on KZfaq - absolutely great, radiates happiness and makes you happy. When I'm sad or angry about what humans are doing to our planet, I listen to and watch "Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Like A Hurricane - Live 1986" by "billyidol68" on KZfaq. It helps me extremely well to detach myself from these thoughts. The energy of this 2 persons makes me completely unhinged with the video from Chicago 1992 and with the Video from Bryan Ferry. Thank you, Neil Young and Bryan Ferry with band. With your music you are one of the greatest gifts in my life.

The saxophonist/keyboard player really steals the show, she's a wow, I mean that is cooking. I ordered the DVD pronto and when I put it on the big sterio it was me that was blown away.

I listen to this every so often. The musicianship in this song just floors me everytime. Neil Young's versions are awesome. This is it equal. If you liked this, Mick Taylor's version of Winter with Carla Olsen is worth a listen. Along with Fleetwood Mac playing Rattlesnake Shake from Live At The Boston Tea Party. Don't forget Leslie West (may he rest in peace) with Mountain playing Dream Sequence from Flowers of Evil. All of these mentioned songs were live performances...

To Bryan Ferry - the match maker extraordinaire - well done, you had a genuine smile of real pleasure on your face, it was so nice to see. You are a maestro, always have been. Keep safe Bryan, and to you and yours - when you stop making music - we have all lost a part of our soul.

One of the most highly regarded but under- appreciated bands ever. Absolutely top shelf in EVERYTHING they ever touched. Manifesto, for example, was released in the climate of punk/ new wave and still sailed through as the fabulous album that it was. Flesh and Blood is just a beautiful masterpiece. Im still overwhelmed now by the intricate production and engineering they brought to the table on all of their work. And it’s true of all of their output. The later stuff, Avalon etc, was high art masquerading as popular music. One of the few bands of the era not to need Eno to realise their avant- gard creations. If you’ve ever taken acid and listened to them you know exactly what I mean.

I am astounded by Tara. She moves from keyboard to sax and also does obo with Bryan in other songs. Given that I've been watching live performances, this kind of talent is truly amazing.

That's not Tara - that's Jorga Chalmers. Tara is Bryan Ferry's son and plays drums. I do agree with you about Jorja's talent, however. She's amazing.

This is a Ferry band. It`s not Roxy. But i saw Roxy Music perform this in Dublin on their final tour in 1983. Then in 2001 they reformed and i saw them for a very welcome tour. The first track of the night was the first track from their first album....`Remake Remodel` which i predicted before the gig started, my mate was very impressed when he heard the opening piano by the man himself. What a gig, over twenty years ago. Missed the 50th anniversary tour ( 2022 ) because they did not include my home town Dublin, pity really because the loyal fans always turned up for solo Ferry or with Roxy over the decades. Anyway, i think they missed a party that might have been the very highlight of the tour. As for Ol` Shakey, i have seen him a few times over the `decades` when he came to town. Slainte.
