This song was part of my journey learning English, when it first became famous in Brazil, i had barely started learning it. And now, I have been an English course teacher for almost 2 years. It feels bad to remember how much has changed in these last 5 years, but at the same time it feels good to perceive how much I've grown as a person.

About a year ago, i was able to meet an aunt of my father's side I hadn't seen in probably 12 years. We were talking when she popped a question, "How are you, like mentally?" In that moment I'd realized 2 things, 1- I'd never been asked that question before and 2- I wasn't even able to answer the question as i sat there, jaw dropped, and completely lost while she stared into my immediately lifeless eyes. I'd had a panic attack, by the speaking of such a seemingly simple question.
