This took me a couple of auto saves and going back to previous saves, my best save was at 1589, and I was missing 2 ccastles to capture, I somehow made it to those 2 castles by making their armies agro my horses, and got the 2 castles at 1592 with minor losses on my side, and got their armies as well, I used the time till the shogun starts his attack, to gather my armies in his base, create demolition ships, and destroy his transports before they even came, the army in his base was able to destroy 2 castles, so as a backup plan, since I knew this might happen, I hotkeyed my castles and spammed samuraies, managed to barley get him at 1598, it was so fun tho, love your content and how you start, helps me a lot in doing my thing.
