The only thing I think is the problem was mostly that skar king was ruining the battle with shimo and plus it was confirmed in the novel that shimo was holding back she dosent want to hurt anyone:/ but she did give off some good feats but I wish they can give shimo a movie which I probably think there not

It's not her fault she was so old she probably couldn't have fought Skar off, so he got controlled.

Actually, the Novelization states that Shimo actually was the one who froze Ghidorah. However, Godzilla had probably severely weakened Ghidorah and had Shimo freeze him after the beatdown.

Honestly, I'm betting on a Skar King and Shimo prequel spinoff.

I mean, it makes sense for shimo to be more peaceful knowing that she is one of the oldest kaiju. And knowing that old people are usually kinder, that could be the reason why shimo acted more like a dog

Scar King was such a good villain and he was a MV Original villain. Shimo is also a MV Original kaiju however she is definitely going to have a bigger role in the newer films

Unless the movie says so. Shimo didn’t have any help with ghidorah and it’s not hard to believe. Godzilla needed to evolve and kong needed a power up to even stand a chance. If it weren’t for that and the crystal being broken in the fight. It might have even dragged out even longer or the even the results might’ve been different.

Shimo is the Yoshi of the monster verse

The Novel confirmed she is the "biggest Titan anyone had ever seen, dwarfing even Godzilla and Monster Zero". and she is still "stronger" as base EvoGoji, who casualy get "bested" by her, "as he crashed he lay still. Impossible, Hampton said". "What chance has Kong, if she bested Godzilla?". But later in his "supercharged state, he is doing better, but it still seemed like toss-up". Everbody overlooked that Godzilla was defeated by her, using only one of her forelimbs casualy with such force the ground crash knocked him out for around 38 seconds. And the Novel confirmed she "put Monster Zero on ice" in a "singular" event. We don't know if it was immidiately after Godzilla defeated him or later. But Ghidorah was obviously ready to fight, before frozen and not weakened after gets defrozen. And think for a moment, he comes from space, do you really think something natural on earth can froze him "quickly"? Or only the sideffect of her ice age is this powerful? Both would be embarrassing for Ghidorah. Frozen by the so called "World Ender" or "Ultimate Titan" makes most sense.

Personally I wish she wasn’t sympathetic as she was in the movie and was more vicious or instead of the crystal making her feel agony have her be fully controlled so she’s more vicious. Also wish she had more time facing off against Godzilla same with goji and skar king as they’re meant to be rivals

Here's a theory of mine he either captured her as a young age is may not be the same Shamo maybe back then she was younger like 3 million years ago she was younger like almost big as Godzilla but a little bit smaller like around his size or take for example the size of the Playmates small figure Shamo to Godzilla's figure then I appreciate that how he captured as a young age

The original movie was supposed to be 3 hours long but they make kinda short I don't how to say this but they should've made it longer but I also feel like it's a build up movie you know like the first avenger movie it's kinda the same I hope so I really wanna see titans asmbl 😂❤

To be fair to her. She had been mind controlled with pain up until the end of the movie. She was too strong by for Godzilla . She could’ve done more if she was able to think for herself

I think Shimo needed a power displaying feat in GXK Although she ragdoll kong who is one of the Strongest Titan in the Monsterverse but that is not enough she Should’ve showed better and a feat on a big Scale

I mean to be fair the reason why you feel disappointed is because: - the movie's budget is 135 million - GXK has the most monster CGI scenes in all the Monsterverse films - It's more of a Kong centered story and CGI is expensive - makes her more of a victim and makes us empathized with her even more.

Shimo was definitely poorly written. She’s all tell and no show. Love her design but we hardly got to see her power.

Lifetime Godzilla fan here, and I was not a fan of this movie at all. Story was rushed, barely any Godzilla, shimu and skarking were disappointing, mothra's rebirth didn't make any sense at all. I was hoping that they would have found one of her eggs and it hatched. And Diddy Kong is not the new Manilla of the monsterverse, hated him so much
