It's a minor detail, but I love how Metatron introduces himself with "Listen, and tremble in fear!", basically inverting the standard "Be not afraid." angels always use when interacting with Mortals.

Also consider how the SMT games tend to make him out to be the voice or mouthpiece of God, hearing Metatron speak, and even moreso having him address you directly, is a Big Deal.

The parts where the autotune is obvious sound a little silly to me. When I get the remaster, I'll play with no voice acting on, because even though it's cool that they got English voice acting, I've already come up with voices for this game in my head.

I don't know, I prefer how his voice sounded in Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse. This just sounds like lazy autotune, and like someone else said, it just sounds like normal autotone... instead of a robotic voice. Fun fact: Metatron is not only a robot because of the "angels don't have free will" thingy, but also because he's none other than the prophet Enoch transformed into an angel by God himself. He basically has that robot body as a shell, protecting his true human one, God basically "rebuild" him to make him fit as an angel. The only other angel who has this thing is Sandalphon, which is the angelized form of the prophet Elijah.

He doesn't hit as hard as Beelzebub but is tankier. I spent a good amount of turns playing with buffs/debuffs. Wish the reward wasn't just Pierce after completing the whole labyrinth.

Pierce is really damn good, so it is worth it. It really helps with the Noah fight (who otherwise takes forever)

This fight was surprisingly much easier than Beelzebub. The constant deaths I had from Death Flies was irriating as he kept killing all my demons since I didn't had much that nulls death/expel and I had to keep using one of my demons to use Samaracarm to revive them. Metatron was definitely easier cuz I had my whole party repel Light but when his Megidolaon hits, it hits really hard even without his buffs

I'd say your party for Beelzebub should be mostly Fiends. Daisoujou, Mother Harlot, and then whichever demon you got that can null Dark. Also equip Anathema to null Dark yourself

Big mistake trying to use physical on this boss. Just bring 2 healer demon with debilitate and mana drain, then the fight is pretty easy. Light null not needed, but it's an advantage.
