The only reason I even bothered to attempt this is cause someone at Atlus must have tested if it was possible at lv80 to make it so the portal takes you there from that level onward, right? lol (probably on safety). Anyway, level scaling really shows its ugly head here, 16 level difference + Hard Mode's own damage penalties completely kills my damage output while increasing Shiva's. As the fight goes on Shiva focuses more on piercing through your affinities while the family summons Ananta to try to heal him for 24K HP, which completely kills any good attempt, so snek needs to die or get sealed if you need more time to kill it. Fun challenge overall, but pretty long fight. Probably won't bother doing the same on Demi-fiend cause you actually want good damage in that fight if you want to survive/kill him within this decade lol

The damn battle theme makes me feel like the entire realm of gods is judging my performance in this fight and whether or not I deserve to continue existing

I finally did this with physical mc and it was a fucking pain, i legit lost a whole day fighting him and multiple attempts were ruined around an hour in. Honestly mad respect to you for doing it because it is definitely a horrible experience but at least the outcome is satisfying

The only downside to beating Shiva is that literally nothing else is even close to a challenge going forward, outside of Demi-Fiend, but I guess that's all super bosses lol

Meanwhile here I am with a full lvl 99 party 12 attempts later. Farthest I got is bringing him down to 1/4 health, then I couldn't keep up with his adds and got pretty much obliterated by their stat buffs and Shiva's usual almighty attack bs lmao
