Godborn mode adds stat boost items into Gustav’s shop. I had the unique advantage where I already have a demon who can kill godborn enemies for me.

I already found it, balms, shit... hahahaha, I already read that you made 98 NG+ but even though there are so many times, how is the farming of the balms? Where do you get so many?

@@berserkerfit it the original, the only way to acquire balms efficiently was through guaranteed navi drops, quest rewards, and miman collecting. You have to reset your playthrough to continue to grind them. In vengeance however it is much much easier. You just have to beat satan and then you unlock godborn mode. Start a new playthrough in godborn mode and gustav will have stat boost items in his shop. Took me only 6 hours to get max stats again.

The miracle you wanna use is called vengeance, it raises your magatsuhi meter when I demon ally dies. Idk if it was changed in smt vengeance, but in the original it takes 3 demon ally deaths to refill your magatsuhi gauge. You just need them to have safeguard and hit a reflect attack so they self KO.

@@chaoswingsandleaves9349 Yeah it was changed in vengeance. The magatsuhi gauge was either lengthened or vengeance restores less now. Now the easiest T1 strat is to use strategize, have an arhabaki to abuse his passive, abuse arioch's passive, use demons that debuffs you and the enemy when they switch in and use amanozako to reverse your debuffs.

Demi fiends essence is null everything but almighty. Since I can pretty much farm Demi fiend for money I can easily acquire his essence. Tho believe it or not, Demi fiends essence isn’t actually ideal for this fight, especially fighting him solo. It comes with innate phys null and if demi fiend can’t use his physical skills he’ll use freikugel and chaotic will much more often, and his allies will spam almighty and debuff moves more often too since half of their skills are being nulled. I actually think Dakini’s essence is more optimal for soloing demi fiend since it comes with innate phys resist, meaning he can use his physical skills but they can’t crit, and it has null seal so his javelin rain attack will never seal you. Being weak to ice and light means nothing if Jack Frost and Parvati never enter the battle. Without spamming freikugel, Demi fiend will only use chaotic will after every 25% health phases, so at most he’ll use it 5 times. You can reasonably be lucky enough to dodge chaotic will 5 times without abyssal mask, and if not lucky enough you can have 2 cheat deaths with enduring soul and a wittled goat.

I hold the fact that I’m one of the few people to acquire max stats legitimately as a huge personal achievement, however I am waiting to see if anybody else would be willing to rise to this level, I’ve only seen one other person do it and there’s a language gap between us.

I'm looking to do max stats myself one day. Do you have some sort of guide for best stats to pick on lvl up playthrough 1 or where to get all balms and such? Routing as well.

@@ryanp.2669it’s been a while so i don’t quite remember all the partner spots, but they are guaranteed in every playthrough so you should eventually pick up on where they all are. On top of that make sure to collect all 200 miman and defeat every fiend and do all the dlc quests because they also reward you with balms. As for your first playthrough I’d focus on strength because physical damage scales dramatically once you hit the endgame. Every ng+ collection cycle should average out to 5 or so hours but you can drop that to 4 hours if you’re efficient.

@@chaoswingsandleaves9349 i really respect you for that, i been starting base game before vengance was announced but i been having a blast so who knows maybe vengace could have easier time to farm balms and such
