I found him worse in the original because it had more level scaling and his level is in the 90's but either way he's definitely really challenging. There is a strategy the developers overlooked, I don't know if they fixed it, but if he summons Ganesha you can have an ally null/absorb/reflect to eat up all their press turns. If you null/absorb/reflect Shiva's moves though that's not allowed and he'll megidolaon spam. Lucifer is easy too like you said, I like the new bosses on the new routes. If you beat Shiva and then fight Lucifer, it gives you the option of fighting a powered-up version of Lucifer (I'm not sure if this was in the original). Lucifer is easier because no minions, he can catch you off guard though.

@@BAIGAMING I don't believe it is optional to choose to fight Lucifer full power. I believe it is part of the True Neutral Ending since I beat Shiva and then attempted to do all 4 of the endings back to back and only the TNE showed Lucifer at full power or rather just a longer fight. I don't think I remember encountering the part where Shiva spams Megidolaon as I've blocked his attacks a few times over. I definitely remember starting the fight with overconfidence at level 80 and then screaming when I see he was at lv 96, even getting to lv 99 wasn't enough and I needed to really strategize, that's when I thought of using the Magatsuhi skill Accursed Poison so that it Seals his attacks and I get free turns to attack

That's sad to hear, I had a friend who did the same thing in SMT V and also in Unicorn Overlord. If these games taught me anything it's to always choose the nice options to be safe.
