Delphox, my underappreciated son. The X form is cool, but the Y form is a perfect representation of why I love that Pokemon. I love the whole 'grand wizard' aesthetic, what with all the abilities coming out of the wand, and the Y design captures that perfectly.

@@the_real_tabby I argee, its only weakness is grass and grass has a lot of weakness and Swampert is bulky and can survive once or twice even if its a STAB x4 which enables it to fire back with an ice type move. (My Swampert in Ruby was very bulky and survived May's Grovyle's Leaf Blade and I was proud of him.)

i hope that they cancel the dynamax concept in the next generations and bring back the mega evolution. It is so much cooler and makes much more sense IMO.

For Blastoise, I would have suggested a Water/Fighting, turning the water cannons into rockets to accelerating strikes and movement. But still, the fairy type does look interesting.

Great designs 100%. Only critique here is a few of them, particularly infernape and incineroar it wouldn’t make much sense for them to mega evolve into psychic types due to not really have access to psychic moves.

The art is really amazing on all of these. Most of the designs are great, but my only criticism is that Incineroar and Inteleon lose their wrestler and spy themes. If I were giving megas to Incineroar, i would make Incineroar Y expand upon the heel theme, while Incineroar X becomes a fire/fighting type face.

To be honest, with most of these I prefer their canon designs over their Mega-concept-arts. But Meganiums X-Form and Empoleons Y-Form are just amazing to me. However, what really takes the cake for me is Rillabooms Y-Form. I always had a problem with its canon design, but if it would look like this instead, it could have been one of my favorite pokémon period.

For my understanding X forms Changes One element and replace it something else and also their forms that doesnt look similar towards Y, while the other retain the elements that were given and a bit of form change Mega sceptile Is already a X form since he gain another element replacing his "Empty slot" same goes to Lopunny and more. Overall the designs were eye catching but the X Blastoise caught me Tearing up

I loved Decidueye’s Y form It was so so cool! It also match’s Delphox Y form because the Delphox Y it magic and Fire while Decidueye’s Y form is about archery! Just like in fantasy stories!

i think you've got it all wrong, mega X is for attack (physical) and mega Y is for special atk. (special/ranged) so thats why mega Y should look more mist and mega X more strong and tanky

Not necessarily. It can also represent Type Change as the X version get Type Change in the actual case.

The problem with this is that in the anime, it said that greninja apperance changes into most of ash appearance. You can atually see the parts of ash greninja that looks like ash, those black thingies are just like kalos ash's hair. So if ash greninja was a mega evolution, every mega evolution would look like ash. It think ash greninja is only for ash and his greninja in the anime, not in the games.

I will preface this by saying that the art looks amazing but for some mons the ascetic is kind of gone and some are a bit overdesigned but still most still look really good!
