I'm 55 years old and seen well over a hundred concerts . Shinedown was hands down in my top 3 . It was a small performing arts venue (3000) people and simply amazing .

This song means more to me than shinedown will ever know... it was a song that I sang to my fiancee everyday and it expresses every feeling I could think and couldn't say. On July 17 of 2015 I lost her due to drugs and alcohol and I still listen to this song and it still brings life and meaning into my broken soul. I can reminisce and picture her beautiful face light up as I sang this to her. R.i.p Denise

I don’t usually read every comment I scroll through most but this one touched my heart on so many levels. I’m so sorry for your loss I can’t imagine how hard it’s been but I’m so glad you can still picture her smiling while you sang her this song. Being a person who’s struggled with addiction her whole life my biggest fear is my family having to bury me. You were probably the one thing that made sense to her, brought her joy and happiness and gave her peace. Love is the only thing we take with us...

Shinedown is hands down my favorite band. Brent always sings with so much passion, and puts his heart towards everything he performs. And every single band member gives it their all. I saw them at the Amway center in December, and it was the single greatest concert I have ever been to.

modern music videos are not videos of them actually singing or playing, its lip sync and acting, they usually play the song in the background to give them a way to keep up. around the 80s is when this became the norm. most of the respectable bands are still singing and playing but its not being recorded, its the recorded version playing over them actually performing. its very easy to spot lip syncing because most people do unnatural movements with their mouths.

I see all the comments about Brent and his ability to tell a story with the inflections in his voice and the passion he conveys when he sings. I’m new to the rodeo but, as a new fan he draws you in and he won’t let go until the song is over. That’s power. That’s passion. That’s expression. That’s art The band is also amazing. Im new too. Probably only about the middle of the year. I had heard some songs but not all. You are totally right about drawing you in and not letting go. The other guys are very good musicians too. The band as a whole are just incredible and what i love is you can see how much the songs mean to all of them as they are very personal songs. I also admire their honesty too.

I went to the Shinedown/Five Finger concert at the Oncenter and it was amazing I was standing and singing every single lyric. I was a balcony seat to the right ( in the band's perspective). I'm 13 and very few people like great music this. Happy Valentine's Day

I like the original video because there was a story behind it that was beautiful to see unfold, but I really appreciate this video as well. I’ve seen some amazing talent in concert, but no one will ever compare to Shinedown. They are truly the most gifted musicians I’ve seen and heard live. Excellence yes but it’s like there isn’t a word in any vocabulary they truly describes them. Brent Smith is truly one of the most gifted people I have witnessed on my 46 years on this earth.

They are as good live as they are on album and to feel the music in another way by feeling the bass the pyro man it’s such an experience. Trust me! If you don’t have #planetzero you need to buy it it’s an amazing album.
