Hey, I feel you about discovering them late. But I know for certain Key would love and appreciate new fans like you just as much. He has expressed multiple times how grateful and honored he is that people are still discovering SHINee after all these years. I think that is the greatest compliment you can give to a 15 year old group who has always stayed true to their creative identity and passion. You are one of the best examples of that effect! Edit: IU Pallete with SHINee is a good one. I would also recommend SHINee on MMTG, Weekly Idol and Knowing Bros. Ugh they have too many content it can get overwhelming. I'm absolutely loving your Kibum journey lol, I've been talking about it with other shawols. Key's been my ult literally since SHINee's debut (so for nearly 15 years now 😳) and it makes me so so so happy to see new people discover him, and his music and his absolutely amazing personality, and then by extention, SHINee. Like you & Youngji said, people sometimes dismiss Key at first. He has a reputation of being very blunt, and some people find him intimidating. He definitely had the cool & popular kid in school that you're scared to talk to vibe. But, every single person who has got to know him says he's so warm and such a caring and loyal friend. That's why he has so many friends in the industry. People genuinely fall in love with him after talking to him for 10 minutes lol. Also, a note, Key's also considered a huge entertainer, because of his variety and hosting and acting. The man is a quadruple threat, and I can see him always having a place in the industry, whether that's musically or otherwise. Oh if you gonna watch Amazing Saturday because of Key, I wish you would add the episode where Seventeen guested too 😆 They go several times but I recommend either episode 165 (with Scoups, Hoshi, Seungkwan) or episode 182 (with Mingyu and Seungkwan). Key is really legit lovely.. and seriously.. SHINee is bunch of lovely people. Each of the five members can pull people in. My gateway to SHINee was Minho and the more I knew them.. it just came natural for me to adore all five of them. Their amazing performances, talent, skills etc even became just secondary.. you will love them first coz of their personalities, and wit, and smarts, their sincerity towards their craft. i had SHINee as my Ult for 13 years now, and Key has always been my bias, i love them so much, and am so happy whenever any1 discovers them positively and love their work/art/anything, they are my love ❤ EDIT: To ans u in case sm1 hasn't alr -- he grew up in Daegu until about 15 where he entered SM and lived in Seoul, he did spend 6 months in Australia and another 6 months in United States as a kid on language + learning exchange with host families, but his English language ability is more due to consistent interest and practice.
