Halloween is a transplant and has only recently started gaining traction in Korea. Horror season there is in the summer, that's when all the horror films come out. Koreans say they like stuff that gives them chills in the summer to help them cool off :) That's why this was released in the summer. Don't know if you noticed, the bride in the MV was creating her perfect man. She took Key's head, Taemin's eyes, Onew's nose, Jonghyun's lips and Minho's body (burned off his head). At the end of the MV you get a glimpse of the combination groom she created.

This is one of the best mv's in Kpop, no one can say otherwise-it's so creative! Shinee is just that Kind of group. Btw the way this didn't drop anywhere near Halloween....lol-it was summer

This is actually the song and MV that made me start stanning SHINee, so I’m so glad you guys finally reacted to it! 💙 It’s actually Jinki (Onew) that’s swinging the bat around and knocks Taemin’s eyes out 😂 They all had a lot of fun filming this, you can find some of the behind the scenes on KZfaq. I really hope you guys watch the Performance version of this vid, because the choreography is so amazing and really detailed! Thanks again for another great reaction!

So here is some explanation about the story in SHINee's "Married to the Music" MV The girl in the wedding dress was collecting the best body parts from each of the members to create her ideal man. She burned Minho's head because what she wanted was his body. She used fire because Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma" because of his passion for sports and his need to always win. Minho has the best body of the group so, she took Minho's body, Key's head, Onew's nose, Taemin's eyes and Jonghyun's lips (for obvious reasons. LOL). Then at the end she spliced them all together and formed her perfect guy. If you notice in the end credits you will see a person that has been created from all of the members body parts which is supposed to be the guy the girl created. In other words, music is a very fickle girl and she controls your life by picking and choosing the best parts and mashes them together to create the perfect song. LOL.

take it from me, yall need to just gon head and get shinees entire discography, korean japanese, and english songs. every song is good. even the OST's. trust me i been a fan since 08 and have not been disappointed by a shinee song yet

I still remember the day (before I knew who SHINee really were) when I saw the gif of Key jumping and running through the staircase and I spent a whole week looking for where that gif is from. I gave up after that week and continued being introduced to kpop and KZfaq recommended this MV and I was so happy when I finally seen that Key scene.

If you want to see more of the choreography for "Married to the Music," which is super iconic as well, you should check out one of their multiple comeback stages or the performance video for "Married To the Music" MV. Every time they performed this song for one of the music programs as part of one of their comeback stages the set and costumes are different and this song has some of the most fun stage sets and outfits of all of SHINee's comeback stages. Their performances of this song on music programs, such as M Countdown, are even more fun then the MV. The concept for this song is very fun and crazy and its another of SHINee's highly iconic songs and choreographies. The MV for "Married to the Music" has a very "Rocky Horror Picture Show" kind of aesthetic and story, so you might notice in the performance version, or if you watch any live comeback stage for this song, that it also has a Halloween feel. If you pay attention to their outfits in their live performances or in the performance version MV you might notice their bow ties look like bats and they are dressed kind of like if they were going to a costume party, etc.

As far as I know the concept of the video was inspired by the Rocky Horror Show. The anonymous bride in the MTTM mv is going around collecting various body parts of the Shinee members to create the (physically) perfect man for herself.

it definitely is a halloween esque video and the girl with the veil who is shown is basically taking parts from all of them (eyes, nose, lips ect) is doing so to create her perfect man

The "bride" takes parts from each of them to create her perfect guy. At the very end, the picture of "Key" is actually all of the the parts put together--Key's head, Taemin's eyes, Onew's nose, Jonghyun's mouth and Minho's body. The only thing she didn't take was the ears. You can't do music without ears.

It was Onew swinging the bat lol so Key lost his head, Taemin lost his eyes, Onew lost his nose, Jonghyun lost his mouth, Minho lost his face, and then at the end you can see the complete person, like the 'bride' was around the party collecting body parts lol
