Years after discovering Shining, I think the honesty of their songs has always touched and hurted me. I'm listening to them both for feeling lonely and on the other side to feel less alone with the sufferings this world spread. Thank you Shining for your work. Cheers

mah this music is crunchy not easy for the great mass , the aspect of the personal crisis is not too much undestood . ok shining are not the new york dolls , i ll think the message is perveted by the nichilism , in to the void of the violence ........is an unfriendly attitude , i like that ...... ( death and black music have the same message ) , probabily the svedish language is a lilltle bit harder to understand .......the pain is growing ...... committed by us or each other

I'd love to take Shining seriously, but I can't. Kvarforth's whole act of appearing 'oh so evil' or whatever, it just makes me roll my eyes. He's written some good music over the years, but he is obviously more concerned about his image in the scene than anything else by now.

True, but in this show he sort of proves he at least grew a little. I mean, i don't see razorblades being passed out, i don't see any blood, and i recently even saw an interview in wich he was almost nice lol

Singer is a wanna be version of GG Allin who can’t hack it. Musicianship is good, music wise they are watered down black metal. One of those opening bands is head out for a smoke and a drink during

GG Allin was a piece of shit and a terrible performer who smeared himself with his own shit on stage no one would want to be like GG.

Derf Gerps unfortunately GG was a god. He lived by his own rules, did what he wanted when he wanted, and lived by his word. Performers today talk a lot of shit and try to paint themselves similar to GG much like the singer of this band. Watch early videos of GG, this guy acts like him, dresses like him, and at times sounds like like him.
