I don’t know. If his father actually paid attention to him and personally taught him he would undoubtedly be strong enough to go toe to toe with a serious Akaza. It would have been a far close of a match then and if he hypothetically had unlocked his demon slayer mark on top of that, Rengoku wins Extreme Diff

I think Kyojuro still would have died. The three Upper Moons were head and shoulders above the rest. In a one on one battle, no hashira, with the possible exception of Gyomei, would be able to take one out and even that is a big if. The only thing that might have been different is the fight might have lasted til dawn, in which case, the sun would have ensured Rengoku took Akaza out with him.

yeah. game over for rengoku because akaza wasn't even trying during their battle because he was trying to make rengoku become a demon. in the manga you can see that marked 12th form sun breathing tanjiro and marked giyu barely killed akaza and giyu is stronger then rengoku over all.

@user-zg1dc5nd3r technically they didn't even kill akaza, since after being beheaded he was healing, neither Akaza or Kokushibo were technically killed by the slayers, both of them had the ability to keep fighting, but chose to give up for their own reasons.

I mean tengoku became the flame hashisra by just reading two Chapters on the book.. the rest he figured it all out by himself!.. so who knows how strong he might have been if trained by his father.. he might have been Gyiome level. And at that level he would have given Akazaa the fight of his life and would definetly have survived until sunrise

He should've redeemed himself, by quitting his habit of drinking his sorrows away with alcohol, trained again to hone his skills with the other hashira, and participated in the Infinity Castle Arc. Imagine the absolute hype and potential this character has, plus he has the potential to get a demon slayer mark of his own since he's been near Tanjiro like the other hashira. Imagine the build up where we see him quit drinking, training on his own and with other hashira, and he comes out of nowhere to help both Tanjiro and Giyu fight Akaza. Azaka thinks he's seen a ghost since he knows for sure he killed Rengoku. Senjiro also knows all the forms of flame breathing and had a good idea of what sun breathing is, maybe he could even help Tanjro understand sun breathing more even before the final arc happens. I wonder if in this scenario he could even turn his katana bright red and potentially be stron enough to slay Akaza at full power with his own demon slayer mark. Even if he dies in this fight, he not only sees Akaza die or contributes to his death, he can regain his honor as a warrior

If all men could aspire to be half the man Ren Goku was, I think we would all be doing pretty well. Since I first read about him I fell in love and tried to follow suit, not everything but characteristics that suited and improved my person. I was devastated over a character from a manga when he was killed off 😭🤣 crazy I know but lessons I’ll never forget and always strive to be better. Set your heart ablaze mankind 🫶🏻✌🏻
