I think you're going to see better efficiency on road due to the lower rolling resistance. I tested a set of 241s personally up over 75 mph (on a Yamaha) and they were stable even at that speed. This is DOT legal rubber unlike most of the other tires you've tried. I'm 100% getting a set for the Sting & thrilled they make an affordable tire for the stock wheels.

I just ordered from amped bikes for my sur Ron & I got 3 items . I’m happy with customer service, the parts I got . Everything was awesome & would definitely use them again in the future. I agree with u , growing pains , the main thing is that they care about there customers & they do !

My warp 9 , 54 tooth sprocket was 1lb lighter than stock 48 t . Amazing difference.

I'm going to be doing the same thing with my ron. Have some milk racing 18/21 coming with some nice knobby tires that I don't want to ruin on the street. Thinking about getting some shinko 241 2.75x19 for the stock wheels for more road and some trail use. You still like the tires?

I know this is a bit late, but I was looking into these tires. LunaCycle's site says they do not fit RST killa forks? -- But I see you have RST killa forks? I have a stock mx3 sting, looking to get these tires, are you able to confirm what size would work with stock RST Killa forks. Also what is that front fender, I couldnt find one that works for RST killa forks either... Thank you in advance.

My experience with them was awesome! It's not their fault the forks were subpar but I fixed mine I'm happy with them now! However it looks like I need to hook up some of those shinko tires from them!

Glad you two made up…. I bought a new pair of tubes and a non O ring chain that I haven’t put on yet… I also have the Warp 9…. 48 tooth sprocket… probably should of got the 54 but oh well… I want those tires but Amazon doesn’t stock then… so I was going to order locally… I’ll call Ben tomorrow and order a set… Let us know who you buy your second bike from… love those trails you ride…. Oh and I wanted to ask.. did you ever have to Cut a wire behind your horn plate? My bike goes 41 MPH Wonder if gets a way to get a little more speed out of it without buying a new controller.. Thanks

Yes I feel so much better about the amped bikes thingy;) Anyway, here’s my suggestion. Clock your speed against a gps. Then set your gear ratio to match. My bike came on the middle setting, which is too fast for a stock bike. I set mine at the ratio right below the middle one. I forget the numbers off the top of my head. The bike should do a solid 45mph with a 180-200lbs rider with 30psi in the tires.

Trials style tires are great for pavement/dirt/gravel/rocks. As soon as things get muddy or sandy, though, they are practically slicks. So long as you live in a place where it doesn't rain much, trials tires are a fantastic option. I'd be curious to get your thoughts on Shinko 244s.

Do you have any insight into the 244? I’m considering the 241 or the 244 for a 19/16 setup. Very little if any mud and limited sand. The only negative I have heard on the 244’s is possible increased road noise but it’s all hearsay.

Yeah I actually rode in the sand on this day. Was fun doing donuts 🤣. I should of put that in the vid too. Felt like I was riding in snow. I might try some 244’s;)

@@marrzie467 IMO, 244s are just more off-road oriented and aggressive 241s. They are heavier, stiffer, taller, and the tread pattern is more aggressive. Naturally that does mean little more road noise, as well as acceleration loss, but better grip on more loose surfaces like mud and sand. In my honest opinion, though, I don't think the road noise is that bad at all and the ride is fairly smooth, considering they are rated 50/50's.

@@OregonMotorcycle Lol yeah, that's exactly why I mentioned 244's. They would definitely grip better in wet and loose conditions. I live in the high desert, so not so much rain, but I decided I'm okay with the extra weight, considering all the sand I have to deal with out here.

Thank you! You can use the stock tubes. Or get some 2.75/3” x 19” off Amazon. I think the stock tubes are 2.5.

They do ok in sand. Better than stock tires or the shinko dual sport tire.

Considering Shinko’s for my Talaria. I’d like to maintain relatively the same sizes. I’d like to fit 2.75x19 up front and 3.00x19 in the rear. (Seems difficult to find a 3.00, do you think a 3.50 would fit?) Having trouble finding any info.

You can fit a 3.5 if you dish the wheel. Honestly you don’t need too. The 2.75’s are just fine.

I had the 350 on it was fine had to graze the tyre so it fit, could be problematic if you don’t know how to fit it as it’s pretty big and could graze the chain and just be a headache, if go for the 3s if you’re looking for a bulky back personally not the 350s

It solves the same thing over and over the same songs whether it's 241 or 244 it's the same you're unnecessarily speculating about it even with rim sizes Remember one thing about this bike in primarily built for fun in the woods and you should stay as best as possible not to add unnecessary weight and especially to invest in this bike, even such a new one, it is not a motorcycle or any Enduro, but rather a Mountain bike with electric material, everything should be easy and fun, you understand...
