Christmas Party 2018 in Tokyo, Japan was the final show of theyear for Shinsuke & Anna. The past year was a tremndous rollercoaster of emotions & hard work. Anna traveling between Los Angeles & Tokyo almost every week was draining but well worth the joy they both brought to the large audiences awaiting them with open arms ! Stunning performance. So faithful to the music which is superb. Passionate , sensitive, reflective. I would echo Moonrise 361s comment, but gee wiz compare this to some of the smiley, happy, sugary, soppy, weak rumbas we've been served up by even those considered the very best.

А когда-то бальные танцы не были спортивными.. Девушки выглядели на паркете мягко и женственно, а юноши сильно, жестко и мужественно. Сейчас все наоборот - самый частый образ - нежный воздушный юноша танцует с сильной резкой амазонкой.. В этом тоже что-то есть, но порой хочется вернуться в прошлое и увидеть пусть не такие спортивные, но просто бальные танцы..

Very nice and graceful. But ..... I often notice that they don't seem so connected. Anna looks at the floor or at her feet often in times where she should instead connect with her partner, look at his face or in his eyes to go with the sentiment of the dance and their artistic expression. Because of that, I feel it removes some appeal for a viewer and some depth from the presentation. Shared chemistry and connection is indeed an important factor.
