Thank you so much BlueVacktor! I commented on your Shiny Alpha Torterra video, saying how i love torterra and planned to do a shiny hunt after i got my charm. I did so today after watching your Empoleon video. Phase 1, 9 resets in I got a shiny hippopotas. Phase 2, only 40 resets in, Alpha Torterra sparkled. 49 resets, 50 minutes and 35 seconds total. Im so exstatic!!!

I had an Onix outbreak and when i was headed to the location i found a shiny Onix, confused because only one spawned and realized i wasnt even close to the location where the outbreak was. Then i headed to the outbreak and there it was another Shiny Onix lol.

Happened to me with wurmple but reverse. I found a shiny wurmple in an outbreak, then I reloaded into the field lands and found another wurmple lol

I hav got like 10 shiny alphas (5 from outbreaks) and I was lucky with others for just less than 50 resets. I always get distracted by the outbreaks. But still,how to you do 200+ resets......even 50 is too much for me😳

Wow that’s crazy. I though I was lucky (also I have the shiny charm). The craziest thing is that I didn’t even get the alpha Garchomp I was hunting but rather a Gible spawn nearby had a shiny alpha gabite which is like the rarest posible spawn for that place.

Also, just got to the nature part of the screen, and while she's not an Alpha, my shiny Empoleon I found as a Piplup in an outbreak is also a Bold natured female. Pretty cool we're (sort of) twinning haha

I caught a shiny alpha gliscor and I almost didn’t even realize it was there. It was foggy so I couldn’t see that well and I flew over the alpha spawn and was like “oh that’s the normal one” because it didn’t make the noise and I thought that it appeared differently because of the fog. Then I looked again and went a little lower and then I saw the sparkles. And I had been hunting it for about a week.

Earlier this morning I did a petilil massive mass outbreak casually and failed a shiny, hadn’t saved in a while and couldn’t reset so was sad, 2 spawns later same outbreak I caught my reclaim so I now at least have 1

UR ALPHA NINETALES SUMMONED SHINY LUCK FOR ME.. I WATCHED THE PART U FOUND IT AND CAUGHT IT, (I was also hunting static spawn gradevoir) AND I REMEMBERED I COULD DO DAILY POKEDOKU AND WHEN I WAS HALFWAY THROUGH IT I HEARD THE SHINY NOISE AND GOT MY 1ST EVERY SHINY ALPHA 😭

Dude so funny story I was hunting for a shiny magby in an outbreak and after the second encounter I looked to the side and saw the shiny alpha ninetails. And the same thing happened when I hunted for my alpha shiny torterra and I ended up getting TWO!!! TWO!! shiny alpha hippowdon and they were both opposite genders so I got both the different shines and I didn't even have a perfect pokedex entry for a shiny hippowdon

I did get S-alpha Ninetales and Gastrodon. Didn't get the Empoleon but got a S-aplha prinplup😱 from an oubreak.😄...and some 7or 8 normal shinies. This all happened yesterday in 6 hours.✨🌟it was worth the time.

Oh and my wife got a Shiny Alpha Starravia last night right after I was helping her get stuff and on her game I came across a freaking Shiny Burmy!! And then I get a text at work today from her telling me she got a Shiny Psyduck. Oh I was so mad and all of those were random encounters!! I play it more than she does and she gets a God Save File!

I got my first shiny in Legends Arceus last night! It was a shiny budew from a mass outbreak, and there was actually two shinies that spawned but I only managed to get one. I intend to use her in my playthrough and her name is Rosie :D

Do you have perfect research on empoleon? I have perfect research on prinplup, eevee, empoleon, and ninetales and I've had so many phases now lol. Btw, congrats!

So what are the steps involving a reset ? Going back to camp and saving and resetting ? Or going back to camp and then to the village saving and resetting ? And then when doing the outbreak you want do you restart at the village or the camp ? Thanks

I have perfect dex plus shiny charm which gives you 1 in 512 chances for a shiny. I have reset 530 times and still have not got it but I did get alpha gastrodon

I'm confused, what do you mean by "phase"? Reset is a given, but is it different than returning back to Jubilife via the Professor? Can someone please explain? :)

Phase refers to a shiny that isn't your intended target!

Do you get the Pokémon you're hunting's pokedex entry to perfect? I always do that if I'm hunting a static alpha and so far I've gotten all the ones I've hunted under 100 resets

I believe they do perfect them since that's the best way to increase the odds for the static alphas

Phasing refers to finding shinies that aren’t your target!

Do leave to jubilife village and come back or do u save at jubilife village then go see if it’s shiny then soft reset

id assume not the second one since if you save at jubilife and reset rather than going back its always the same exact spawns, plus turning off the game entirely is wayy slower than just going back to town.

They are indeed Arceus charms you can just search on Google where to get them and what they do exactly

you know you can press X in battle to switch to your pokeballs and then zr to use them, right? it's much quicker than pressing up to go to your items.

@BlueVacktor gotcha. I realize you had your goals of the 3 starters as shiny alpha, but watching you ignore outbreaks, both kinds, and then being soooo surprised when you found shinies where they more than likely would be...that just was a bit bothersome

@BlueVacktor yeah it surprises me too, but if you play the MMOs enough, you'll probably find more shinies than you can imagine. I'm up to 8 or 9 pastures by now since the game released.
