The double shiny with the G-Linoone and Tapu Lele was the same thing that happened to me with Mesprit! G-Linoone has such a great shiny too, it was a shame to let it go. Got it back when phasing for Pheromosa though! Tapu Lele ended up being my longest DA hunt to date. Ended up with 11, yes. 11 PHASES! A main reason why Tapu Lele was my least favorite legendary for a while before Enamorus was introduced.

I've always liked the Legendaries Shiny Forms in Gen 7!! They just stand out so much! And the Tapu's are pretty cool matching each other.

My first Dynamax Adventure shiny was an accidental Tapu Bulu. I was just trying to find a specific legendary (don’t remember what), and I found Tapu Bulu along the way.

Jeez I just thought to myself when he got linoone early" it'd be funny if he got the shiny legend as well" I didn't think it would literally happen lmao

Dynamax Adventures is honestly my favorite piece of content in all the main series games.

Dynamax Adventures are such a pain in the ass solo. Even with the shiny charm it took over 150 successful raids for Lunala, 70+ for Latios, 91 for Tapu Fini, and I am currently at 105 for Latias. Only quick legendary was Tapu Lele at 1, but I don’t even like Tapu Lele compared to the others that I have hunted over the course of entire 24 hour hunts (looking at Fini specifically here).

I had a full odds, random encounter shiny Morpeko show up fairly early on in my initial playthrough of Sword. Had to use it for my team. It really added an extra bang to the battles with Marnie. A real battle of the Morpeko's. Good times.

today I was on Pokémon home when I GTS traded for a shiny tapu koko. When I received it, not ONLY was it Japanese, but it also had Pokerus. Watching this reminded me of my shock when getting it. I played with it and got my shiny dawn wings necrozma and melmetal with it, among many other things

Omg! I thought I was the only one! Gen 8 was the only one I didn’t play on release since I was 10 and red and blue came out. I wasn’t in the best place at the time. While I was waiting for the Teal Mask I decided to buy it and the DLC. I know a lot of people hated it and maybe I would’ve at the time but I’ve had A BLAST playing through it now. The base game is a little meh but the battle tower, aisle to Armor and Crown Tundra have been a blast. I had ordered Shield when it came out but I just bought Sword so I got to play through the game and DLCs twice and got all the legendaries so I guess I can’t say I didn’t like it. It’s honestly a lot of fun. The raids are way different than S/V. I went from Ultra Sun to PLA to S/V so the raids in SV were so much fun to me. But there’s almost no one on there to join raids now. But shiny hunting in Dynamax Adventures is so much fun. I really thought I didn’t like using rentals in the Dynamax adventures and battle tower but I realized it makes me use my brain in battles instead of just using a ton of over leveled OP builds. Idk man, maybe it’s hindsight but I don’t think these games deserved the hate they got. They’re not the best but I started them thinking I was gonna hate it them but I really wanted Zacian, Zamazenta the Calyrex’s and the Urshifus. But I ended up getting a ton of legendaries and having a blast.

After Scarlet and Violet every time I revisit Gen 8 I fall in love with the art style all over again

I'm new here, so sorry if I should know this already, but when you say the amount of adventures between each phase, is that counting each game separately? If not, 76 adventures on 4 switches, 3 with charm, without getting a shiny is absolutely crazy. Even still, it's a 1/100 rolled 4 times, so it's close to a 1/25 per game with charm. Either way, really fun video, and I think I might stick around. :) Edit: Okay, over 100 adventures without a shiny is just crazy anyway (at least with charm), I'm glad I've never gone that long without a shiny. Also, considering it's a multiple of 4 every time, I think I can safely assume you're counting each game separately. Doesn't hurt to be sure, though.
