Күн бұрынCruise ship Disney Wish navigating the Ems river backwards from the shipyard to Eemshaven, the Netherlands. The float out took place on February 11, 2022 and the conveyance over the tiny Ems river on March 30, 2022. The Disney Wish is 341 m long, 41 m wide and has a Gross-Tonnage of 135.000 gt. She is the first ship of the new Triton class.

Fantastisches Video vom Ausdocken und der Emsüberführung. Echt tolle Szenen und dann noch in 8K. Beeindruckend. Super mit den vielen Zeitraffern, genial bei 3:35 min das Feuerwerk aus der Luft erwischt. Daumen hoch! Gruss inselvideo!

Just to correct you - the cruise ship Disney Wish was built at the Meyerwerft shipyard in Papenburg, which is Germany, not The Netherlands!

Great video. That said the ship looks horrible. I can't believe people want to go on cruises with these vessels where it is clear that they just try to squeeze as many rooms and people in as possible. Ship building, atleast astetically, has really took a turn for the worse in the last 50 years.

I wouldn’t say it’s the best, but not the worst, cruise ships kinda look like bath tubs now but look gorgeous. In my opinion, cruise ships are about 7/10

Railway bridge in Weener was crashed december 2015 by a freighter. The railway connection still in use was interrupted. The replacement bridge is due for... 2024!!! Why does that take SO long? What a shame... What has been done with the insurance money? Weener is far from Berlin.

They do in fact, raise the level beforehand, by closing gates at the mouth of the river, to be able to move these ships to the North Sea.

Because the shipyard didn't start building ships of this size and with new jobs, politics startet shaping the infrastructure around the shipyard (building a flood barrier for the river Ems e.g.)
