If you are ever in a bind with Tyvek mailers I’d be happy to meet you in Houston( I’m in The Woodlands). My daughter ordered 100 and they sent her 1000 tyvek mailers. Huge mistake on their part! She gave them to me for my Posh closet sales so I have extras! I hate that USPS treats you so poorly. They are not great at my location but we do have 3 portals to scan and print out our own receipts. But they are not always pleasant when I do have to work with them. 😊

WOW that's crazy how the Post Office is still treating you. So sorry for that. How dare you give them some business and make them work while they're at work! LOL. I feel so lucky my post office is so generous with packaging that the supervisor actually sees me coming in and goes to the back to get me a handful of envelopes without me even asking!

My post office treata me like garbage too and told me they don't have the staff to mail my stuff and to get a real job. I'm a teacher but this helps me pay for my daughters college and dorm.

I have 2 PO near my house and for packages they have bins for you to put them there. I believe they process those bins at least 3 times during the day. However, if I have to do the line the employees are very nice. I also use the home pick up and the mailman is nice as well.

I love ThredUp mystery boxes (sometimes lol) because I learn new brands and SOMETIMES you get a holy grail item. I had several holy grails from ThredUp boxes. They’re fun to watch unboxings on KZfaq since I don’t buy the boxes anymore (I have a crazy death pile going). It’s so crazy that your post office is like that. They need a new manager.

Have you considered just scheduling pick-up at your office? There is such a toxic atmosphere at your nearest USPS that no matter what you do, they will never be friendly or helpful. I'd almost be afraid to ship packages out of that location even if you get a receipt. I love your vids! So much information! Blessings!

Hey Girl! So glad you and your family are okay. Happy to see you are still killing it on PM. Is your Post Office an actual USPS location or is it an independently owned business that has contracted with USPS to accept their shipments and sell their postage? They make money from selling shipping supplies and upcharge for packaging. They may also accept shipments for other carriers. They usually hate it when resellers come because they have to pay their workers a regular salary because they aren't fed employees, so if they are busy helping someone who has paid for their postage online, they are losing money- because they aren't selling postage or shipping supplies. That's why they don't like us. The regular USPS doesn't usually care. If It is a regular USPS office, you can call the Regional Manager and complain. They don't usually mess around, and something will get done. So sorry you have to deal with that, but love your "it is what it is, so let's move on" attitude ❤❤❤

@@Mcthriftzie Also, make sure you are documenting who you speak to at the location, what time, your package numbers, etc. The regional manager will ask for that info to make sure they can pinpoint the issue.

Did you know USPS is discontinuing their 1097 box 😢 Thats literally my shipping favorite box! 😅 Online it says they will be discontinued once their current inventory is gone. Wonder if they will be replacing it with something else 🤔

USPS should be happy with all the sellers ONLY BECAUSE OF US THEY HAVE THEIR JOBS! They hate me at my local post office too when I bring 25 or so packages and have them scan each one individually. Once they kept all my packages on the back of the truck for a week so my buyers received them late :(

I love seeing your sold items from the bins videos. I’m visiting my daughter again in Austin next week and have previously been to both outlet locations there. I’m almost 2 hours from the Dallas and 2.5 hours from Waco so I’ve never gone to the closest ones to me. After your last visit to Austin, do you find that either the North or South location has an edge over the other for better inventory?

That’s so weird that the post office near you is annoyed by your package volume! It’s that volume that keeps the location open. I live near a small town and they are happy to have whatever is shipped through them. If they didn’t have the volume, the location would be shut down.

I am wondering are you actually taking in consideration the huge cost of shipping you are incurring. Since you are teaching about this maybe is something that you might want to consider. I saw your shipping and I know you can ship items for much less all the paper you add in each item it cost more than if you used a simple poly mailer for clothes also shoes you can shipped in a padded envelope. I don’t try to be negative just make you aware.

Poshmark has a pre-negotiated shipping rate with USPS so buyer pays a flat shipping fee for any package under 5 lbs. It's all priority mail so I just use whichever box or envelope fits since it's the same price. As for the paper, I buy it in bulk and it lasts me for months so spending cents on each order is worth it to me to have presentable packaging!
